Hi Pele.? Pleasantly surprised you like the VR3 in spite of the problems you mention.
I think the guy from Humanware who appears on this list ocasionally is going to be the one to answer your queries.? I find the time announcement anoying too.The where am I glitch is one that should be addressed too.
I shamefully admit to not having downloaded any RNIB books for some time which of course would have to be done via my computer, but I do not think I havew the right URL for the download service so if anyone can send it here then that would be helpful as I find RNIB customer service a bit hit and miss.
Being able to download books via the VR Stream is long overdue but that's not Humanware's fault.? I wish RNIB would get its act together on this one as I know its going to need co-operation from them for it to happen.
Final brief comment on the VR3.? Its small and fits well in the hand, if you do not cover up the speaker.? I find the keys a bit squidgy to press and I do not care much for the reorganisaiton of the menu system, but all said I get on with the VR3 well enough. Ocasionally the BBC streams are prone to a little interuption but good to know the event streams do stil work.? Have the URLs changed for these?
Just end by commenting I wish more podcasts had chapters alla departed Living Blindfully.
