I can do most things with the bt keyboard, somethings I struggle with, I have all the regular apps installed, youtube, messenger, messages, phone etc, just anything with the touch screen I struggle with. It's my sensitivity after my cerebral palsy where I struggle. Even struggle to read braille, my hands just aren't sensitive enough. I can tap but have never mastered the gestures. Example, if you get a phone call, you can say Hey Google, Answer The Call. What do you need to do that you can't? What app do I need to control my phone by voice though, I think there are several? I know you can make calls via google assistant but to actually control my phone by voice would be great. You can even install Amazon Alexa to your phone, so again, I think specialist devices' days are numbered, unless they do something really special. I would put in a mention of the Synapptic adaptation for Android phones here as this does allow for pretty easy and rapid jumping around by voice command as well as a favourites list. Once you've got your head around installing BBC Sounds on a smart speaker then it does become easy to do what I do, jumping around a lot. Mind you I for one did not find the installation/activation of BBC Sounds at all obvious, not to me at least. So I would say that in this wonderfuyl world of digital possibilities I can see a role for volunteers who do know what they are doing and are appropriately cleared for security and turstworthiness to go into people's homes and set it up where necessary.
