? Hello Everyone.

I wanna get a feeling of whats everyone's Personal Goals for Field Day are.
Not sure if the term "Goals" is the correct term, but Can't think of anything better.

What Number best fits your personal wants for Field Day for you.
Fractional numbers are also OK, like say you best fit as a 4.5 person.

5- It's a Contest!
Make as many contacts as possible a personal or club challenge to rack up QSOs.
Try to beat last years efforts. Or try to beat other clubs from all across the country.
Yeah yeah the ARRL says it is NOT a contest, (Wink Wink) But if making contacts are worth
"Points" and you publish "Results" of who made more points than others, Sorry,
IT'S A CONTEST and I'm gonna try my best to make us the highest score possible!
Improve personal skills – like logging speed, pileup management, antenna setup.
Achieve a personal record – more QSOs than last year, trying a new mode, etc.
Earn points for your club – most groups compete for top scores in their class.

4- Shit Hit The Fan!
Test emergency communication skills – setting up and operating off-grid under simulated emergency conditions.
Set up a portable station – practicing quick deployment of antennas, radios, power systems (solar, batteries, generators).

3- I've Never Done This Before!
Try out different bands and modes – HF, VHF, digital, CW, voice, etc.
Experiment with new equipment – antennas, radios, digital interfaces, logging software.
Engage with club members – team-building, shared learning, and camaraderie.
Elmer new operators – helping new or younger hams learn the ropes in a real-world scenario.
Troubleshoot in the field – identifying weak spots in your setup and learning to fix them under pressure.

4- Hello John Q Public
Promote ham radio to the public – Field Day often includes demonstrations for non-hams.
Even try to get visitors to "GOTA"

5- I'm Here!
I'm an extra Body. I will help anyway I can, but no specific duty or thing.
I'm Here
Just to have fun – it's all about the joy of being on the air, outdoors, and doing radio with others.

And lastly, to get an idea of Who & When you will be at the site?
When do you plan to arrive at the site?
You Staying for the duration (Sunday afternoon)

All your answers will be kept Confidential.
