Hi, May I ask if anyone here has been successful connecting D-RATS Repeater to a ircDDBGateway port? I try to connect it to 127.0.0.1:20011. This port is connected to DCS010R. I can see the traffic on xreflector.net, but the traffic from the R module doesn't seem to be heard back via the Repeater. Any ideas? SM0RUX Pontus

Now that I have a working D RATS program using the internet, I am wanting to set up a RF connection. Does anyone know of a USB version of the OPC-1529 data cable? If not, what serial to usb converter would you recommend? I am running Windows 8.1. Looking for recommendations from those that know the converter will work. Thanks in advance, John WA4KWK

We just had a comport issue with a drats install on a win 7 service pack 1.The comport appeared to be installed correctly in both drats and the device manager, every time we opened drats the comport opened and closed and was audible from the computer. We tried every trick we could think of, updating and re installing drivers, changing USB ports, all of the normal com port driver tricks. All to no avail, drats would on occasion transmit the log on call but not every time drats was started. The final fix was a clean uninstall of drats and a new install of the daily build 02232012. Since then the machine runs just fine, again the comport opening and dropping back out was audible like plugging in a USB cable to a port. I hope this helps someone else as it is a annoying problem to encounter. Al KF5SMH

Has anyone found a way to send the same D-RATS Message to more than one station without creating a new one for each recipient?

I searched through the past posts on here and scoured the web as well. What I haven't seen is a step by step process on how to set up your own ratflector. I see in the D-RATS instructions they explain it but it really seems to be missing some key points. I set up a GMAIL account for use with DRATS and everything works great. But, when I try to open the reply in the DRATS inbox I get an error: "message in use by another task" I can close DRATS and reopen it then it will allow me to view the reply. any ideas how to fix this? KK4RJL Greg

I searched conversations here to make sure I'm not repeating anyone. Has anyone succeeded in linking two different ratflectors together not over RF? What I mean is ratflector 1 is in town A, ratflector 2 is in town B. When someone uses ratflector 1 it also shows up on ratflector 2. I saw on the D-STAR yahoo group guys did it by using firewall rules in their routers. They could use mail, chat and file sharing over both ratflector networks. Both of them are no longer HAMS and I requested membership in that yahoo group over 3 months ago and never got approved. Keith kc2oon
