Is there anybody out there?

I finally worked through installing D-Rats using Option 2 on a Win 11 machine. I considered this a great success, until I realized there are no other stations listed for me, the maps were not working, etc. The default ratflector refused connection so I added the Georgia ARES ratflector, since that was in the quick start guide. So, where do I go next??

Tandy if will send me an email to wb3ilx@gmsil. Com with your phone number ?I will explain DRATS to you and get everything working including the maps if you are using ?a Windows OC.

Randy sorry about the spelling. ?Email to wb3ilx@.... ?It will take about an hour on the phone to explain DRATS and set you up to where you can assist others. ?I am the Paulding County ARES Net manager in Georgia. ?We use RF, Winlink, Echo link, DRATS, and the XLX043A and XRF043A (DSTAR) to log in to our ARES net every week. ?I ask everyone to use as many of the log in options as possible so everyone stays sharp on the software. ?We have a cross mode reflector XLX043A that does DSTAR, Fusion, and DMR. ? If you want to contact me via DSTAR use XRF043A on your hotspot. I will be monitoring DSTAR around 1pm Local time today. It would way too long to explain what had to be done by typing I have included a screen shot and if you change the map screen to exactly what I send they will work. ?Only thing you can not change where DRATS wants to install. ?You must let install where it wants to go.

Ron,
Great success!!! I am up and running now with your push in the right direction.

Thank you!

Randy,

? If you go to the first hyperlink off of my bio on QRZ (for WX4QZ), look for the file "Mode Overview.PDF". It covers setup on D-Star, D-Rats, the QuadNet Array, and more. I had also sent you a message from WX4QZ-1 -- but I don't know if you got it yet. I saw you chatting with WB3ILX, so one of us should be able to assist you. Also on that page, are Excel Spreadsheets of selected D-Star, Echolink, and D-Rats Nets, in Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific Time...plus several PDF files related to amateur radio. My email is good on QRZ if you have any further questions.

73,

Daryl, WX4QZ

Randy,

? ? Ron's email is wb3ilx@...

Also, Ron is a great resource for help and Daryl maintains a FANTASTIC Database.
