Drats connects to FLdigi so the information in drats uses any of the digital modes you select for your transmission.

D-RATS should be set to use a serial connection (as if it were a D-STAR radio), and the data speed must match the port on the radio.
Kenwood commercial radios are not D-STAR radios. The data format
