Using D-RATS with your radio
The RT Systems blue cable with a 3.5mm phone plug is a cloning cable and can not be used with D-RATS.
The RT Systems orange cable with a 2.5mm phone plug is a data cable and allows access to the low

Re: D-rats not keying ID-51A
I would suggest double checking all of your Radio settings to be sure they are correct per the D-RATS suggested settings. What version of D-RATS are you running?
I use the RT Systems USB-RTS05

Right, none of the RT system cables I have can not be used to control radios, only to program them.

Re: D-rats not keying ID-51A
Turns out the repeater is fine, one of the radios (2820) I was using was not programmed for the repeater, only simplex, problem solved.

Re: D-rats not keying ID-51A
Problem on the IC92AD solved. I had no issues using voice on DSTAR. My problems were with D-rats. I've used several models of radios with D-Rats and usually communicating to the radio at 9600 baud.

Re: D-rats not keying ID-51A
It’s likely one setting missing. If you follow the settings in /g/d-rats/files/D-RATS%20Radio%20Settings.pdf from the D-RATS group, it will work.

Re: D-rats not keying ID-51A
Have you tried a different repeater? There have been reports of some non-Icom repeaters not behaving well with older D-Star radios.

Re: D-rats not keying ID-51A
Since most of the RT Systems cables are pretty much proprietary, I would try a basic cable and see what happens. That is about the only thing you haven't tried.

Re: AGWPE on repeaters
I have created a PR for my fork that adds the missing radio types to the repeater.
I don't have a way to test these.

Hello Patrick,
I was just looking at the D-Rats repeater code.
You are right, there does not seem to be any code in it to support AGWPE, so it is not using entirely common code as other types are

Hello Patrick,
I think Rod, ka5mye was able to get that AGWPE with my python3 fork to work on the client.
As near as I can tell, the repeater code uses the same code as the client application, so it

That may very well be true. There are several features in D-RATS that Dan started working on, but never followed through to the end. This may be another one.
