d-RATS 0.3.10 beta ... or maybe not
Hi all only recently I have been able to test a bit the latest version of the d-rats code from github (0.3.10 beta) on my raspberry pi. from my few tests it seems working although it would just

That is something I have never tried mainly because I am already running the ratflector and the station software at the same time on my pi.??I have connected the radio to the pi so it could bridge

D-Rats on Pi-Star Raspberry Pi
Greetings to all. Does anyone know if you can run D-Rats on the same Raspberry Pi as a Pi-Star repeater or do they need to be on separate machines? Many thanks in advance. Jim WB2LHP

I also am having the same issue. After I click ignore on the debug message nothing happens, the program does not open for me to change the preferences. Can someone lend some assitance. Patrick

Re: D-rats over XLX reflector
Exactly, Marius.??We see many who want to get into D-Rats and the first thing they want to do is connect their laptop to the radio to transmit RF data.??When they find out most of us are not

Re: D-rats over XLX reflector
The question what bugs me is why do you want to use a reflector for this? The reflectors need internet access to be reachable, so you will get the same service from ratflectors, with the same pros and

Come and feel free to use XLX029D for DATA transfers. Prior to transmitting anything please Turn On (BUSY LOCKOUT) from the menu selection. BUSY WILL PREVENT ALL PARTIES FROM CRASHING ANOTHERS

Re: D-rats over XLX reflector
For all of the reasons Glenn mentioned, my Ratflector radios are on frequencies that are not used for Voice traffic. They are at the club's repeater site, and therefore cover the same area, but do not

Thank you Patrick and Dan. Will check out my hotspot. This is typical mmdvm simplex on Raspberry Pi. DPRS packets are always passed well.? 73 de ES4RM, Sergei Sent from myMail for iOS

Re: D-rats over XLX reflector
D-RATS uses the low speed data portion of the D-STAR data stream. In my experience, not all hotspots pass D-STAR low speed data (DV Tool, for example). Since GPS data is also sent as low speed data,

Re: D-rats over XLX reflector
A hotspot allows any radio to communicate over any type of reflector or repeater gateway. The purpose of a reflector is to allow all connected stations to communicate with each other. Hope that

D-rats over XLX reflector
Hi All. A newbie question. Does it possible to run d-rats on-air exchange through not physical repeater, but through XRF or XLX reflector using hotspot? all station in the same ratflector on the net.

Re: ID-51A with USB RTS05 cable
Hi Dan,Now I understand your confusion. There is not a global e-mail server for D-RATS. The D-RATS client can send messages using your internet e-mail account. But when using D-RATS on radio, you can

Re: ID-51A with USB RTS05 cable
My original post shows results using D-RATS 0.3.9. Re-installed the RTS driver, no difference. Same issue occurs with D-RATS 0.3.3 Changed to another repeater, which can trip with PTT but no messages
