Ron
?
I have mine set up this way...
?
In preferences, select "Messages"
?
Check Allow Winlink
I use "NET" in the Winlink Connections box
In the Winlink Server box, select one of the servers (using the dropdown box), port is 8772
I use a "9" in the SSID box
?
I'm not using a RMS Server, so that box is empty
?
When your ready to send a message:
?
Select the Message tab
Select "Email"
Your call sign should be in the From box
Put the email address you are sending the message to in the To box
In the Subject line type //WL2K then the subject
Type the text of the message
?
When your ready to send the message,
?
Click?Send
Click on the down arrow to the right of "Send/Rcv" and select WL2K, then click on Send/Rcv.
?
The message should go.?
?
Suggest sending a message from your landline computer to your?Winlink address before you start.? If all goes well, the message should be in your "in Box" after the send/rcv function

?I've probably forgotten something, but this works for me

?
Dangit!! Missed this training opportunity

Although I am pretty much up and running with the basics,
but now attempting to get a TNC-X up and running for Winlink
email with difficulties.? Looking in the chat window I do see packets
come in and get decoded.? Just can't get mail out and I do have
a Winlink account, using the prefix WL2K:? Has to be someting
dumb.
