I have been working through similar issues, but found this document very useful and now have D-RATS talking back and forth to the CMS of Winlink with no issues.
I am still working on using the SMTP/POP capability as I would like to "connect" with the local RMS Relay (that I run in-house) for times when the internet goes down.
But to use when working directly to the Winlink CMS, this document will help a great deal. 73, Mike Crabtree - VA3MCT
