been working on a few ID51 radios of various models and am solving one problem at a time.
This current ID51a Plus2 when transmitting on DV to another DSTAR radio, the call letters are not heard on the called station, but if the 51 is called, it recites the call letters.
The whole purpose of this is to get chat to work with DRATS, which it doesn't.? For now I'm using simplex, just to keep it simple.? There is no issue with the receiving radios, something funny with the 51.
I know there are issues with GPS and that should be off, don't know if that's the issue or not, don't even know where to turn it off.
I've done a factory reset and loaded in with RT Systems the bare minimum. I've tried loading the channels in the main mem and DR, doesn't seem to matter.
For DRATS it is not a cable or port issue, something else somewhere.
I know my description of the issue is vague, don't know how else to explain it.
