else's static IP address to resume ratflector service but it will be
on that new group to maintain it going forward.
It sounds like Glen might be willing to host this though maybe an
alternative could be found with more reliable services?

No, I don't pay attention to this stuff. It's gone because of upgrades, I didn't even know anyone was using it anymore, but I can't put it back where it was easily.
If someone wants directed to them so they can take its place, they can contact me, otherwise I recommend people just set up and run some alternative.

mentioned the fact that RAT is having a problem mainly because
there are a number of folks out there that install D-Rats and
never venture beyond the one ratflector that is installed with
the program and if that one is off line then they have just
wasted their time for having a functional system.??Everyone
needs to know about the alternatives or how to run their own
ratflector if needed during an emergency in their community.
Keep in mind that most of us are not programmers and some of
us are more technically minded than others.??A few are even
fussbudgets (you probably need to be an old Peanuts fan to
understand that reference) that will complain about
everything, say this technology is worthless, or a waste of
time, etc., because they have not figured out all the bells
and whistles yet.
