You could also put it in the rc.local file or write a service script to launch as a service at boot time. I'll? post an example? a systemd script that starts d-rats_repeater as a service in fedora 18? when I get home this afternoon. I use it to start d-rats_repeater on my raspberry pi based? ratflector for a "headless" ratflector. Mike, N0SO ratflector: ratf.n0so.net port 9000

That is a great tip. I will add that to my notes also.
That tells me I could add that in startup of the pi as cron job then instead of launching under the desktop.
