Hi Adam,
Yes, I noticed how clear the reception was.? I have watched videos of other Pixies and broadcast interference was very noticeable.
I think a fun project would be to take your Pixie2023 and add enhancements.? Maybe additional front end filtering, active audio filter, additional audio amplification, ?? Maybe not too practical but fun.

Indeed. Peter is doing a great job building and operating the Pixie2023 kit. I cannot believe 3 QSO's are logged in an evening, and I barely hear any broadcast interference.

Hi Nigel,

it?s an old Picture. You are right, I used a middle pin and the outer Pin of the large variable capacitor . At first (Picture) I used the two outer pins, variable capacity in series. Thats too less.

I just need to point out that your connections to the variable capacitor are incorrect. What you have done will not vary anything.
You need to use the middle connection and one or both of the outer connections.??
One of the outer connections is around 160pf and the other is much less for a combined total of around 250pf.

it works !!!

Incredible, the BCI will dissapear using the attenuator. looking on the signal in WSJT-X without the attenuator the level is to high (red). Using the attenuator the signal level is o.k (green).?

WOW. The ADX-S is the right KIT for changing things and to fix defaults. Much space for soldering etc.

By the way ! My article in the german Ham Radio Magazin CQ-DL will be published in February 2024.?

More than 300 QSO with the ADX-S between Mai and September. All Bands 40m/30m/20m/17m/15m/12m and 10m are working good.?

DXing QSOs to : USA, Canada, Malawi, Brasilia, Argentina, Japan, Kenia, Guatemala, Domenican Republic .

Hi Matt,

Due to the AGC, you can see only 2-3 dB difference on RX signal bar. It impacts BCI significantly, not signal itself.

I made the changes to get an switchable attenuator. Using 2x N4007, substitute the 1k R13 resistor. I installed the new firmware 1.3.
Everything works great, many DX QSOs from 40m to10m including the new Bands. on 12m even Japan, Africa, USA south America.Great trx
