I'm sure the? travel costs in the local? Shanghai Metro are very low? but unfortunately the? airfare? Auckland? to Shanghai is? abit high to you know.. pop over for a weekend of Kit building.? ? My G1M? xeigu has pulled in? 100 W SSB signals from as far away south as the Katlins which are back of Dunedin. It pulls in? NSW? SSB and? VIctorian SSB any night you care to turn it on.? It's the antenna build and the Obvious? skill of the operator that makes this all possible.?

THe Seven watts has been heard way down Wellington way (say 600 odd KM )? in two way SSB coms on 40 mtrs and the Dipole in fact is oriented more to? make? communications possible with NSW and QLD possible? ?AS for the Adam Rong SPECIAL? ?Pixie -? that's 'still in bits. I think it will get built as? Mighty Mike US design? instead.? Three stage? 7-8 W out, possibly as much as? 11W? if RD16HH is used? .? Ie Toss the PCB and just use the parts.?

I'm impressed that? a Maglev exists in? Shanghai.? If you came to? Auckland in 80 year's time you'd find no trams and no Maglev.? Just a bunch of corrupt politicians and "Nippon Klippon? " extensions to the harbour bridge that had snapped off and fallen into the sea.? That's the slang name for the? two lane extensions on the? Auck Harbour bridge.? They were built in Japan but to a UK design and barged out.?
