Matt,
There are several Arduino Nano modules available in the market.
Some of them are using relatively smaller LDO regulator IC and it
is not a good idea for our purpose. With the addition of the
Bluetooth module, the LDO will output around 120mA during TX. It
is very hot if you use higher than 12.6V power supply, especially
in summer.
Also, it is critical to avoid RFI, if your antenna is very
nearby. Even QRP power will cause abnormal behavior.
Thanks,
Adam

Hi,
I already installed the C25 on the backside. Anyway I crashed
some Arduinos in the past. At the Moment, the trx is running
good :)
But I have some Arduinos in spare? ;)

Matt,
?
The
key is the C25. It helps eliminate the strong RF
feedback. If your PCB does have the pads for
C25, you can solder a 104 under R18. Thanks to

Hi Adam,
I crashed a couple of Nano Arduinos. I
don?t know why. The newest one I use? is
with a mini usb Plug, a little bit thicker
than the USB-C, But everything is o.k. It
works, as you can see :) . I got some QSOs
with the USA and Japan, using the ADX-S es
a Magnetic Loop antenna :). Seams to be
caused by the bluetooth device, the ADX-S
V2? is more sensitive against HF and there
is a danger to destroy the Arduino rather
than using an audio cable.?

Matt,
I saw your video demostrating FT8CN
and ADX-S V2 on 40m band. The 9V
battery looks cool.
Thanks,
Adam
