that is one cute little rig.

my only trivial suggestion would be to use a phono socket as a cheap/cheerful/robust antenna connector to avoid the cost/fragility of the sma socket (and sma/bnc adaptor we need too... the leverage on them makes it all to easy to wrench the main socket out of the board whereas a sharp pull on the coax simply disconnects a phono without damage)
