Guys,
I made another simple project, a regenerative receiver to cover 7-16 MHz. The specialty of this circuit is that a readily available shielded coil is used. The original is FCZ series, while my replacement is DIY7-14. It worked great. In the following article, I explained that I have changed the power supply to 4x AA sized Ni-MH batteries to make about 5V, so I can save a regulator 78L05, and 5V can power LM386 too. Also, I used varicap diodes instead of varicaps.
Thanks,

Guys,
It is a traditional holiday Mid Autumn Festival, or Moon Cake Festival. I made a small project based on the book of JF1RNR, whom I met in person in Japan Ham Fair.
This morning I tested the half watt transceiver in Century Park and successfully logged a QSO with BG5JNT.
