Spectrum 110-A

Has anybody worked with the Spectrum 110-A? ?I've got an upcoming job where I was told these are the boxes we need to control, but I don't have anything to put my hands on at this point. ?It looks like the are made by Arris, but since they are branded Spectrum I'm not quite sure which codes to expect. ?I haven't even been able to confirm that they have IR control (might only be RF?). ?Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They are most likely the same as the Scientific Atlanta commands we've all been using for years.? You may have issues with repeats on some commands; that seems to be the only problem I have run into with some of the newer cable boxes.

Spectrum receivers… nothing like needing to have a backlit reboot button on the front panel.

We will see. ?The new remote looks to have fewer buttons, kind of like what Comcast did with their Xfinity remote. ?I'm guessing that will come with a new set of IR commands even though most buttons will line up with the old. ?I'll update once I get my hands on one.

Thanks for the input.

What city are you getting this box for?

?

I've done several 101-T and 201-T here in NYC

My on-site tech said the Spectrum tech told him this was the first time he had seen these boxes, so they seem to be hot off the press.
