Program Restart. #console

 

Hi guys.

After adding the slave IP table in the console the control processor its asking me to "Restart program to take effect" , So I thought of using the "progreset" command. But I am not able figure out all the parameters in that command.?

?PROGRESET {-P:ALL | -P:Specific Program Identifier} {-V} {-D}

? -P:? Reset a specific program or ALL.? If not present, ALL assumed..

? -V:? Verbose reset.

? -D:? Don't keep DBGSIGNAL information (PROGRESET normally preserves DBGSIGNAL flags).

Could anyone help me out what does those parameters means ? What does the "-V" & "-D" means ?

Is there any other easier? command that would achieve this ?

I usually use "reboot" instead.? I am not even sure if "progreset" will cause the slave mode to take effect.

At least on my MC3 and MC2E, I don't need to supply any parameters with "progreset".?? I think you? only need to supply the parameters when you have multiple programs running.

Like Steve said, just reboot.? If you actually wanted to restart a program, though, it would be "progreset -p:1" for the program in slot 1.
