Oppo HA-1 / Oppo Sonica DAC IR

IR codes don't exist for the Sonica DAC yet. I'd suggest contacting Oppo directly for Pronto format codes for the HA-1.? If they don't have them, I've got a learner and a HA-1 (and remote) so I could learn them for you if nobody else has them.? However, the included remote only has a power toggle, not discrete on and off commands.? I contacted Oppo and they suggested the HA-1 codes "might" work.? Also informed me that the Sonica DAC doesn't come with a remote (!). If you have access to Oppo beta stuff I'd appreciate you checking.? Lacking that, the HA-1 codes would be appreciated. The DAC looks like a nice piece but no discrete power is a little disappointing. |

IIRC, the only button on the remote that will turn it on is Power.? But I can double check when I get home later to see if Play or one of the direct input commands will turn it on. Keep in mind that these are DACs, so "Play" may not be what you want... Geoff

Confirmed: the Play and input source buttons do NOT turn the HA-1 on. Also, just to confirm: the HA-1 codes do not operate the Sonica DAC.? Discrete power commands are not yet available and there are no guarantees that they'll be provided in the future.?
