I have received the following feedback through beta test channels:
1) Pronto format codes for both the HA-1 and Sonica DAC are in progress and should be available soon. 2) Discrete on / off codes will be looked into. My understanding is that the HA-1 doesn't have a simple mechanism for firmware updates, so discrete on/off codes may not be possible if it wasn't thought of when they setup IR support.? However, the Sonica DAC can be updated via USB, so it's more likely that discrete on/off codes could be added if they aren't already supported.? The bottom line is that there are no promises for discrete on/off commands. Geoff

Also, just to confirm: the HA-1 codes do not operate the Sonica DAC.? This is intentional because the 2 products are sometimes used side by side (that's how I'm using them), so having the same remote control both would be a problem.
