100% agree. If they publish a syllabus, then you could gauge whether or not you are ready to spend the time and effort.

That's funny, and true.? This was discussed in our silver group discussion.? It almost seems like one upmanship from year to year for internal giggles rather than real world scenarios.

I'm all for a challenge, but let's be reasonable.

I'm also not sure why they won't give you a syllabus or something similar that gives you the concepts you might be able to study before you start the time.? It's entirely pointless to keep that stuff secret.

In the Crestron CTI website there is a dashboard at the bottom right that will show you any exams you have available.

I forgot I asked this question a while back!

I ended up taking the exam.
It was the same style as the previous exam.
It didn't take as long as the previous version I took, but the difficulty was about the same.
The reason it didn't take as long is because a lot of the filler stuff was taken out.

There is a new version now. Good luck to everyone trying this year!

On the last exam construct was not required.
I don't know about the one they just released.

Me too!

It is definitely time consuming though and the subject must appeal to you to really get into it I think.

I just took 2 weeks of my vacation time during a Christmas/NY to wrote mine, otherwise like most, the real world schedule is too busy.

The silver exam was not that bad once I got out of my head. During the day while working, I probably spent 20+ hours just thinking about what needed to be done and going back and forth on how to accomplish it. I then spent 80 hours on the test and another 8 hours to fix the issues they reported back to me. I would say that 90% of that program is in s+/s#.
