I need to control lots of Somfy RTS shutters throughout the house so it will be multiple Bond Bridge (4 or more) units. All the guys on the C4 forum loved it using this driver (module) =?

waffles All Messages By This Member #235917 Jay; I have been using a Bond bridge with a SIT Proflame remote for my Mendota fireplace. Thus far it has been mainly basic functionality with on/off voice control via Alexa. Please let me know how I can help.

As soon as we flush out a few issues we're having with the ceiling fan control I'll email you a copy of a small example program that includes all the modules along with some directions on getting this working.?? I greatly appreciate your offers to help with this. The modules currently only support control.? There isn't any feedback.? According to AVMaster, who was an original beta tester of the Bond Bridge, the control portion of the API is not very reliable.? It is currently documented in the API documentation as being in beta testing.? It involves opening up a UDP connection with the bond bridge and sending a message to the Bridge every minute to keep the connection open.? Then the bridge will use this connection to send status update messages.?? Once all the control portions of the modules are working properly, if I have time I may take a shot at this.? Or, since this is just going to be a freebee posted on my Github with all the source code I may leave that up to someone else. Thanks again. jbasen All Messages By This Member #236227 The module is completely written and has been tested controlling several ceiling fans and a fireplace. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test it with any Somfy shades. I've even tried posting on the Bond community site but haven't found anyone able to help. I haven't wanted to put something out for general use that hasn't at least had all the basic functionality tested. Bond is very, very picky over the syntax of commands sent to the bridge so even getting the fan and fireplace functions working has been challenging. Eric Luckart All Messages By This Member #236272 I am thinking of picking one up to test with for the fans at my house. I picked up the MatterLink Multi X and it wouldn't learn any of my fans. The protocol was very easy but it didn't help me! What are your thoughts on the bond?

jbasen All Messages By This Member #236364 It is my understanding that the Bond Bridge Pro is only available through dealers and isn't sold through general retail. You might try contacting Bond as to whether they would sell you one directly or they should be able to refer you to a dealer that can supply you with one. If your Bond Bridge is disconnecting from WiFi I would contact their tech support as that could simply be a defective unit.
