It's ideal to have them both using Ethernet ports. The AV2 doesn't come with one out of the box. You can get either the C2ENET-1 or C2ENET-2 cards for it. I've only dealt with the Rack2 once, but I know it doesn't have one out of the box either. On the web page Crestron shows the Rack2 with a CNXEN-2 Ethernet card in it here
? If you have these cards in your systems you can either do Ethernet Intersystem communications or you can program one of them and in the system configuration you can add a Ethernet Remote Processing module for the appropriate system you want to slave to the master. In the later case you can make either one of them run the code. |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWhat's your actual question? If you're trying to ask how to link the processors together You could turn the Rack2 into a Cresnet slave with the AV3 as the master. The other option is to use a COM port on each and use XSIG symbols to send signals back and forth.? On Sep 28, 2014, at 9:42 PM, johnkennethsantiago@... [Crestron] <Crestron@...> wrote:

Use the AV2 as the master, then drop a RACK2 in your crestnet devices as a Crestnet slave since you have no E-NET card. In the Rack2 info view in toolbox, you'll see where it has a Crestnet ID of "2". You need to change that to some other Crestnet ID (3 or higher) and it will show up on your AV2 crestnet network.
