is there a way to control the FireTV stick with Crestron?

I have a FireTV stick in the back of a DM 8x8. I control it using the Crestron "Generic CEC Source Control" module.

It took a bit of trial and error to get the Address parameter correct. For me it was "8 - Playback Device 2".

There are a few different IR receivers that work with it, I use this one at home,



I have a driver for it, no need to buy the remote, let me know if you need it.

I 2nd the vote for CEC in DM environments.? I have found FireTV CEC control solid after some earlier challenges? over the past few yearswith hangs with multiple commands being sent too often.

But what do you do when it goes to sleep? I couldn’t find any command to wake up my Amazon Fire 4K (the first 4K box not the cube). When awake it was fine but I could wake it up after it went to sleep and no way to turn off the sleep. I was fine with the IP control until the Amazon updated to remove IP control as it was. So I was forced to buy the Flirc IR and that works well and can wake it for sleep with any key

With CEC,? I pulse the PowerOn input on the Crestron Certified Drivers Video Server CEC v1.1 when turning the system on.? ? I have not seen any issues with the FireTV Stick not being awake and responding to commands after that pulse and during use.

I have a DMPS3-300 running my house and CEC worked perfectly. Thanks!
