Updated IP control of Directv?

Matt All Messages By This Member #218399 Does anyone have an updated module with IP control of DirecTV DVRs and Genie systems?? I'm using chip's version for 1-way control, but I'd like to query for current channel # and it would be nice to have it also provide the channel name and program info if possible.? I'm running version 2.1 on the Directv receiver.
[email protected] #218403 I recommend spending the scratch on the ControlWorks module. ?I don't know what you value your time at, but $350 for that module is a steal. ?It is as complete as it gets.
John Gabler All Messages By This Member #218408 +1 for the Control Works module. ?There are a couple of issues with controlling DTV via IP. ?Random loss of control when navigating menu or info bar. ?No power control for Genie clients. ?My understanding of these limitation have nothing to do with CWs but the way that the Crestron system handles the IP control and the limitation of DTV receivers.
Caleb Radecky All Messages By This Member #218418 开云体育 To be clear on the module front, most calls I get are related to the DIRECTV webserver and "local" functions that the IP API doesn't work with on Genies, such as navigating some of the menus and power. No issue is because of Crestron or the module. As with anyone who is using the module, and you run into a situation where something's not working as expected, feel free to give us a call.
