Bell 9241 PVR - IR driver required (remote is IR/UHF)

Brendan McAlpine All Messages By This Member #132971 I am looking for an IR driver for a Bell 9241 PVR, does anyone perhaps have one? The remote says IR/UHF, and my CNXLIR is not able to pick up its signals... Is there a way to get the IR Learner to pick up these signals? Or am I hooped?

By default the remotes for these Bell PVR's are set to UHF (Pro), and to change it over to IR is something they don't care to make obvious, but if you ever run into this then follow these steps. 1) Remove the remote's battery cover. 2) With the remote face-up, pull down on the oval-shaped portion below the Bell logo. This is the key. You might have to push a fingernail along the curved crease below the logo to loosen the key. Remove the key by grasping at the bottom, and pull it straight out. 3) One side of the key is coloured silver (UHF), the other side is black (IR). To operate the remote in IR mode, simply reinsert the key black-side up. 4) Replace the battery cover. I just had to set the remote to IR (by flipping a key at the base of the remote).
