HR-310 Issue

 

Greetings all,

I have a HR-310 that went out and we are looking to use a different remote paired to a different GWEXER to get his master working. I followed the steps to pair with triple tapping the home button and holding but we don't get the green light. Anyone have any tips or has seen this?
 

It's actually a four press and hold on the last press for about ten seconds until the green led flashes.

Specifically:
Press-Press-Press-HOLD

Also of course, make sure the target GW is in Acquire mode
 

Make sure you aren't experiencing any wifi interference with the Gateway.? Is there a WAP nearby?? Try changing to channels 25 or 26 on the GWEXER.? I've even had to disable 2.4 radio on WAPs that were installed too close to the GWEXER
 

My general rule is to hold about 5 sec (right after it blinks back at you).
When that doesn't take, the next time I hold for over 20s (the rule is 12 - but I take it further) that tends to usually Collect ones that don't acquire easily.
 

Also... it isn't the home button, its the Menu (|||) button.
 

You could also connect using a USB cable and issue "acquire start" on the remote. This does a few things for you. It powers the remote so you aren't concerned about dead or week batteries. You know the acquire process ran. You can change the RFID while connected.
