Re: HR-310 remote battery life

Hi everyone,

We had exactly the same issue the last couple months on a project. TB has asked to roll back the MC4s to 2.4617.00032, and the issue has been looking like fixed the last week-10 days or so.

Re: HR-310 remote battery life

Mmmm....My understanding is that the HR-310 is a 1-way remote. There is nothing on the interface that receives info from the program (SMW Device symbol is outputs only)...

This is a very weird situation...

Re: HR-310 remote battery life

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Well According to TB it is a 2 way remote. ? Initially they told me it had to be something in my environment that was making the processor ¡°keep communication open/ and not let the remote go to sleep to maintain a good user experience.¡± Apparently though the gwexer doesn't have the same bug which is why it doesn¡¯t drain the batteries.

NSW Banco

Random question, but does anyone here happen to know who programmed the Banco court room in NSW Australia?

Re: HR-310 remote battery life

Wow, that's really interesting!
I'm curious how a one-way remote would have its batteries drained more on an MC4 GW vs a GWEXER?? Even if the remote knows that it is talking to a different GW model, since its only transmitting button presses, why should it mater??

Please keep us posted...

This issue has been the bane of my existence since we started putting in mc4s. ?I have 8 or so in the field all show this problem in some form. ? Best case - they last 2 weeks worst case - less than a day. ? Cleaner channels tend to help but not always. ?Tried new remotes from different batches, tried new processors, empty programs. ?Apparently Crestron has finally admitted there is a problem ?but who knows when an mc4 firmware fix will come. ?They¡¯ve known about it for at least a few months. I¡¯ve been fighting with this problem since February. ?

You can install a gwexer and your problem will go away.

My latest article, "Ting from Whisker Labs Helps Prevent Home Electrical Fires¡± is being published by the good folks at Residential Tech Today Magazine on their web site.

There are an estimated 51,000 house fires each year from electrical issues in homes.?Ting, a smart electrical sensor from Whisker Labs is out to change that.?This article looks at the Ting sensor in detail, how it can detect electrical issues in a home before they cause a fire, and how it can also detect issues with the grid feeding electricity to a home.

You can find the article here:

For those interested in earlier articles that I've written, you can find those here:

Finally, for those that want to see even more content I've written about smart home technology you can find that here:

Seems you have no possibility to emulate key with the protocol, it¡¯s really basic.

You¡¯ll probably have to do it with IR..

Does anyone have a macro or RS232 codes for a Panasonic MODEL£ºTH-86/75/65/55/50/43CQ1U? They don't supply many codes and I am most interested in controlling the tuner. It does not show direct channel input buttons. I cant just use the old ones because too many of the commands have changed. Its a commercial monitor and I don't have access to it

Re: RGB color to XYZ or Yxy.

I am in the process of learning simpl+, but don't have the skills to make a conversion module as of yet.? I am familiar with the formulas for converting the different color spaces, just know how to plug in those formulas into a module.? Thanks for the help, this will be a good project to learn some new things.??

Warning: CPHProcessor.exe

There have been a few mentions in the past few months of errors with "Warning: CPHProcessor.exe". Has anyone found a fix?
This error is filling up the log file and causing systems to lockup or reboot randomly.
The error I see is "Warning: CPHProcessor.exe # 2021-06-21 11:17:55? # Buffer doesn't have Device Member in the Telemetry Update and payload is {"Actions":null}"

Thanks.

Re: RGB color to XYZ or Yxy.

Edited

Hello, there are equations out there that could be easily plugged into a simpl+ module, that would be my first option.

RGB color to XYZ or Yxy.

Does anyone know of a module that will convert RGB colors to an XYZ, or Yxy color space?? I am trying to use the crestron color picker widget, which outputs RGB values, to control a lighting module that represents color in an xy format.? Any help would be greatly appreciated.??

Check under Settings on your phone under Crestron Go. I think keeping auto reconnect on and check for update off keeps it pretty automatic. Just make sure you recheck the update on if you update your project?

Re: CP3 to CP4 convert-crestron go app stopped working

Thank you Dave.
That works now after adding those?credentials?in the App.
