Re: TPCS-4SMD & C2N-IO Anyone?

We're specifying them as a basic classroom system together with a DM-TX-401C. We haven't received them yet. So no first hand experiences with it yet.

We've used the TPCS-4SM with the C2n IO for a couple of small projects
now. Conference room with limited inputs and no equipment rack. Seems
good so far.

HTT-B10 substitute

Heath Volmer

Does anyone have a suggestion for something similar to the HTT-B10? It seems like a good thing to have around, but in my experience hasn't worked very well in a good environment (probably because there are no old-Infinet things around to repeat for it), and in a bad environment I imagine it might be trouble (since it doesn't act as a repeater with/for other HTTs.) All I can come up with is a big-stupid EX cameo in a block of wood ;-).

Thanks, Heath

are you using the TV remote to control the apps or are you controlling them through the Ex-link?

Re: Cameo Wireless Wallbox Dimmer Opinions?

What is anyone using for fan control? We are now specifying a home that
will have 70+ loads of CLW dimmers but there are 5 rooms in the house that
have ceiling fans and of course the owner wants those controlled as well.
Can't throw a standard dimmer on it and Crestron keeps telling me to use a
CLX-1FAN4 but that is not an option in a 12K+ square foot house that is
already built and sprayed with icynene and custom marble throughout.

Yes, works great. D3Pro even reminds you to reconfig it to switch mode. We
use SWEX on motors.

Would someone advise me the command to get all zone's brightness of Lutron QS simultaneously?
Actually I sent"?OUTPUT,1,1<CR><LF>", but nothing happens.
The Lutron QS ID of mine is "1"

I've probably always done them step-by-step in the past, and I guess most of my other systems have been panel-based with scattered EX where it makes more sense. Never had to do 60 all at once (I set my poor guy loose on deciphering and replacing all of them in one shot and then a couple of days later I tried to brig it on line. Not cool.)

A week or so ago, we were hung up in a nightmare EX install where none of the EX dimmers or MLX3 would acquire. Wi-spy scans showed lots of not-too-high level interference across the spectrum.

I'm back in town today. I fought here and there, bringing the MC3 up to the dimmers, and managed to get some of them going. Finally, today, starting from the gateway and working outward, I was able to get the rest of them going.

I have a couple of theories:

1: There is a Chinese microwave spy station broadcasting out of the 30M house next door that just happened to be offline for the duration of my acquisition procedure.

2: All of these silly dimmers are spitting out "wide" band interference of some sort until they are acquired and locked into a channel. After more and more are locked in, the spectrum gets cleared out until the last one finishes up. They also build up their mesh and adjust accordingly of course.

Does anyone have any good knowledge of how these things behave before and during acquisition? I'll do some research. Might be smart to start acquiring as they get powered up.
