Did you ever resolve this issue, I have the error -4002 with a writestringarray() on an AV3. works fine on 2series processor.

I've added delays, and tried a few other things but no success yet. Did True Blue ever get back to you on this? did you find a workaround? Anyone else?

Sony 4K TV & 4K player (FMP-X1)

Working with these for the first time, and whenever the TV and 4K player start up they open up the player's interface as an overlay on the current input. ?Is there a setting somewhere to disable this? ?I've currently removed power from the player so the customer can watch DirecTV/etc without this 'feature', but would like a more permanent fix than sending 'Return' to the TV after X seconds (boot-up time on the player is strangely inconsistent as well).

Neil,

I was hoping the Echo module was up for grabs.? I have a job with several at the moment.? I have control but get errors when asking for status feedback.? Also, there seems to be an authorization license key needed.

Is there any way to get non-stupid two-way communication between two D3 programs over a single EISC?  I want to be able to react to digitals coming in and send digitals out, all on a single EISC. Virtual keypads require one on each end which means one EISC per program.  Seems like I have to use a third Simpl "broker" program to do this.

No problems with CEC to speak of on all Sammies over the past couple of years.

Had a minor issue with a UE74F8000 being controlled through an Anthem MRX-300 but some adjustment to timing when sending the commands through the Anthem fixed that.

I really like the fact that the new Samsung's learn the commands now - means all my latest projects have been using the same CEC commands for the past year. No more having to work out if RCP, OTP, SAS power on or RCP, SS for power off.

If only all manufactures got this sorted.

depending on your general system design you can employ analog init/eq some ram to save your selections (or write to file)

It all depends how fancy you want it to be.

I have few systems where it is linked to security systems PIR’s and when there is no movement in the zone for certain time

the party mode music goes to “background music” level and when someone enters it ramps up slowly (works nice in a loo (-: )
