PAC2 Relay programming

Edited

Hi All,
This is I'm sure its stupidly simple but I'm missing it, since I've never used the PAC2 internal relays before...

In D3, I need to have an internal relay turn on 10s after processor boot up.
*** I know how to manage the logic, but I cannot for the life of me see how to attach the trigger to the relay to engage...(would have taken 22sec in SMW!)
I know that the relays are shown in the OtherDevices/Auxiliary devices tabs, but I cannot find where/how you would select the relay to control in the programming section...

Any ideas??
TIA!

Re: new phone - settings not moved with app

You can text or email them to yourself then import them in. It does not copy passwords.

You click on the setting cog then export. On new device you use "open with" and search for Crestron Go.

Re: DaVinci Fireplace control

Thanks very much for responding. We do have the shifter in between already
with the same results.

Hi Craig,

it seems that the DaVinci uses TTL, Crestron RS232. You need to add a TTL
to RS232 shifter inbetween for correct operation. Give google a chance for
such a shifter, should be just a few bucks.

new phone - settings not moved with app

is there any way a client can move the settings over for Crestron App/Go when buying a new phone?

DaVinci Fireplace control

Hello,

Has anyone been able to integrate a SIMPL program with a DaVinci Fireplace? We have followed the limited instructions, have the recommended adapters and it works with the native DaVinci glass keypad.

We get control using Putty from the USB on my laptop but the feedback is incorrect.? If we control the fireplace from the DaVinci glass keypad the feedback is correct. This tells us the problem is on the Crestron TX$ side or the DaVinci RX$ side.

We are unfamiliar with the differences between TTL and RS232 and wonder if we are missing something there.

Thanks in advance for any troubleshooting help.

Re: Lessons Learned - Crestron EISC #simplwindows #useful #EISC

The links to help.crestron.com are links that describe what I am doing with the F6 command. Just in case the text version that precedes it is unclear with the brackets and all.?
That is all, just references to the interface I am configuring based on what step I was on in my description.?

Also, to confirm, I knew about the 127.0.0.2. I must have fat fingered it and not caught it. I'm new to this type of forum, I would edit the original if I could. Sucks really, my intention was to help those who didn't know what EISCs are or how to use them in special ways that are clear to one group but not to another. My mistake could lead them down the wrong path... and just create more confusion. Hopefully they see this response and those from others who point that out.

Re: D3 Delete Gateway?

That is the best place to move wireless devices from one gateway to a different one.

Boy they hid that good, thank you.

D3 Delete Gateway?

So I mistakenly added a CEN-RFGW-EX to a project and I can't seem to find a way to delete it. Is this not possible or am I just missing something?

Swap the processors in the program and make the CP3 the master.? You will see quickly if it is failing . . .

Thanks, that is exactly what I have but no activity through IR or I/o on the Slave.

Could be that the CP3 is failing I guess.

Re: Slave CP3 of RMC3

A relay is an easy test. You can at least hear them being triggered.

Re: Slave CP3 of RMC3

I just checked on my CP3 and when I added a master address it did automatically assign F0 for the Device ID, as shown below. This is normal operation.

In your program, have you added the "CP3 Remote Ethernet Processing" to the IPID that you have entered in the CP3?

Main processor:
CP3>ipt
IP Table for program 1
CIP_ID Type Status DevID Port IP Address/SiteName RoomId
32 Gway ONLINE 41794 127.000.000.001 Not Specified

Slave processor:
CP3>mipt
CIP_ID Type Status DevID Port IP Address/SiteName
M 32 SLAVE ONLINE F0 41794 010.001.010.030

Re: Lessons Learned - Crestron EISC #simplwindows #useful #EISC

Thanks for the clarification, Duck.

I see what you meant now. I had thought you were showing what you would do on the processor verses in the program. Also, as others have pointed out, you use 127.0.0.2 for the loopback on hardware processors.

One last item that confused me, why do you have help.crestron.com after each IPID?

Re: Lessons Learned - Crestron EISC #simplwindows #useful #EISC

I agree, the comparison with crosspoints made it more confusing than clarifying IMHO. I also find EISC much easier to understand and use as you only need to get the direction of the signals right (or left ?) and the addressing (internal <> cross controller).

?

Thorsten

I also have issues following your guide here or to understand what exactly you want to show.

The only difference between EISC between program slots and between processors is the IP address the modules pont to. Between programs it's 127.0.0.2 in both programs and between processors it's the IP of the other processor.

That might be the funniest thing I read all day! Thanks for that. When it comes down to it, you have to do whatever it takes to win, even delete .DLLs hahaha!
