Re: Fusion discovery with multiple programs?

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Thank you for your reply Jason.?

?As I indicated in an earlier email each programs¡¯ fusion symbol has a unique IP ID.

Thank you.

The GUID is separate than the IPID.? The SSI module will take care of the GUID being unique.? However, if you loaded the same program into multiple slots, then the modules are probably all defined on the same IP-ID, which can't work.

You can only have an IP-ID defined for one slot, not sharing.? So you either need to move them IP-ID in the code for slots 2-10 and recompile, so all slots have the Fusion SSI module on different IPID's from each other, or maybe do some IP-ID remapping.

If all slots have the SSI module defined on same IPID, only the first slot is using it, and locking it out of the other ones since it can't be shared.? That is why you can only discover one program and not the others.

? Interesting... Why have the 1 on the update digital? In Fusion class they had us pulse it at midnight. Do you know what the limit is for Fusion Room symbols in one program slot? The FSG folks had me set it up this way. They are super helpful, just very busy. They are contacting me Monday morning. Thanks for the info William.

Additionally I use a different Fusion SSI ID for each slot or process plus I have a 1 on Digital Signal Update System Info on SSI 2.5. For the record, apart from the main program running on slot 1 I actually run a second slot with several rooms defined on them all with different IPID and SSI IDs. This is to follow room scheduling for rooms that do not have Crestron yet. In one case I have 6 rooms running on one slot zero issue.

Re: Fusion discovery with multiple programs?

I'm looking at my working setup Bottom parameters on the 2.5 SSI Here's what i got for CP3N
Processor Type Standard
Primary SSI NO
Prefix_GUID Yes
Append_Program_Slot Yes
File Location Internal
Fusion SSI ID 10d (11 for next one etc..)
Scheduling ID 10d (I use a scheduling module so i increment that for every room as well)
Use Time Sync No.

My Ethernet offline manager is looped with the update request from the right side to "offline" on the left
Digital Signal Update_System_Info on SSI module is set to 1
My fusion ids are set starting F0 and increment to F1 and F2 etc....

Finally my last SSI module has a [To_Program_Initt_Complete] digital signal that I actually send to CP3_USERPROGRAMINIT to let it know initialization is complete for all modules.
Nothing else not GUI modules or else.

3 Series Email alerts

Has anyone successfully sent an email with a MC3. If so how? I have tried a few various modules with everyone ending in a general message error and that it was not sent.

Also, they do have different IPID¡¯s.

You still discover the 1 ip for the processor but in order to be able to find the other slots they all need to have different Fusion symbol IPIDs to be able to discover them.

Hi William,

?They do have their own Fusion symbols but they were all from common code so the nine rooms have the same GUID. The help file says the GUID updater is now integral to the main SSI module so I assumed that that wouldn¡¯t be an issue. Any thoughts?

Thank you.

and also different GUIDs.
If you are using the SSI module, the GUID won't matter so much

Fusion discovery with multiple programs?

Hi All,

I¡¯m trying to discover Fusion Room symbols in slots 2 - 9. Slot one works perfectly but I don¡¯t know how to discover the others. I have a call in with FSG but it may take a bit to get a reply. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Sending commands to Echo

Maybe I have missed it, but I am wondering if we have a way to send commands to Alexa to operate things it controls that we do not currently have direct control of but it does. ?Is there a way for me to have Crestron tell Alexa to lock the door, for example.

Re: Password for this file?

It's located in the Utilities folder under Files.

Re: Password for this file?

I've loaded my version of the file in unlocked format. You will see it has the exact functionality as the original one, and feel free to update as you see fit.
Hope this helps.

Hi,

?

I control my Nvidia Shield via CEC ¨C works perfect. I Control my Sony TV via Sony 2014 Bravia TV module. I was just playing around when I Notice I controlled my Shield w/o doing any programming from my Crestron HR-150. It must be CEC I send via my Sony TV.

I was searching a solution for my shield TV, because IRUSB is not directly available
in Germany it was not that easy to try, asking NVIDIA only gave me the info that it should
be Googles Android TV commands, but didn¡®t find useful info.

I am using Crestrons CBL-USB-RS232KM-6 now, to emulate Keyboard. It works....
