Mmmm... I've never set time for the GW's. My initial view is that they don't have their own time, thus there's no settings for this.

TIME, TIMEDATE, just returns the current time and date with UTC-0? I'm assuming that the time is gleaned from the processor time.

SysInfo also does not have a time or date widget...

Did someone already used the IPX800 from GCE-Electronics with Crestron ?

I can't find anything on internet although it has some API and everything to control/get feedback from a third-party device. I would be able to do a little code to interface it but as I won't have really anytime when I receive the device I hoped someone might have something working for it already ;)

I am not familiar with that unit but I have seen that behavior before, I got it when the client has an older/cheap Wi-Fi card , and it fails to connect using wpa3. I downgrade to wpa2 and got them connected. Hope it helps?

Was just reviewing this post.? We are just finishing up our new home build and I am setting up our network which includes numerous VLANs (using pfsense).? I am quite versed in pfsense but this is my first Crestron install (the whole house is wired for all aspects of Crestron products :)).

Would you mind sharing your firewall rules between your VLANS (Creston/NVX/NAX Vlans/technical)?? I suspect this could save me a tremendous amount of trial and error :).

I am also interested to understand how/if you did port forwarding/NAT through pfsense to the various Crestron ports in it's VLAN and still feel secure about it all.

Often the reason for that is simply too weak a signal. You may think you have "full signal using one access point to all 4 corners of my yard", but however strong the AP signal is, it needs to be able to pick up the signal of the client device in return too, which may be less than optimal.

Is it really a UAP-LR? That thing's got to be over a decade old now. Highlights include: 2.4 GHz single band radio, non-standard 24 V passive PoE power and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Uplink. We're three whole generations of WiFi standard on from 802.11n. You could do worse than to treat yourself to a WiFi upgrade.

Slightly off topic but I have a strange issue with a Unify UAP-LR access point.? Oh, by the way LR means long range and yes, it rocks. I have full signal using one access point to all 4 corners of my yard and can see it from my brothers house over 100 yards away.

For some reason that is above my pay grade, some of my devices fail to connect to it.? I get a error saying incorrect password. I know the password is correct.? I have probably 2-3 devices out of about 20 that do this.? The last being a small Insignia TV I put out in the garage.

Has anybody ever managed to make the CSP-LIR-USB work on a M Series Mac in parallels.?

Ive heard rumours that somebody managed it, but cant get to the bottom of what drivers etc they used!

There isn't an option in System Info.? I've tried the following in Text Console.

TIMEDATE - shows the current time, but doesn't allow changing it (or I can't find it)

TIMEZONE - returns Bad or Incomplete Command

SNTP - only displays or changes the server and timeout values

I think the MyCrestron is only for Crestron Home and Use the v1.1 Module.

Crestron is the only place this should come from. ?If they won’t give it to you (they will have a copy), I really think you’re swimming against a strong tide.

I'm sure you have your reasons, but just my opinion (from one of the VERY few people that wrote SG custom objects with the SDK):

1. It wasn’t trivial - it’s a complicated SDk with plenty of issues

2. Objects are only compatible with native panels (no iOS or android mibile)

3. SG is history… HTML5 (with all of its faults, admittedly) is the way forward

4. Support will be ZERO

5. The supporting Flash/Air packages and SDK are possibly End of Life too

This does work for a physical keypad, but does not for a phantom keypad and unfortunately, I also have to address some phantom one.
