I'm also not sure why they won't give you a syllabus or something similar that gives you the concepts you might be able to study before you start the time.? It's entirely pointless to keep that stuff secret.

Honestly, I don't know what you guys are whining about...These tests built for real-world projects.
But for those of you who still don't understand the obvious fundamental applications that are clearly defined in these tests, I asked a friend to make a short video to help you all see the application in working form...

I too have had multiple requests for multi dimensional lighting control and also a new intergalactic heating zone layout and control RFP just came out from the Vulcan planetary housing authority.

Since one of my programmers attempted the Masters entry level certification test last year, we've had at least a dozen clients come up and ask us to program a dynamic floor plan seating layout on an airplane that has the ability to play blackjack between the different zones.? You're telling me you haven't?

WOL port is arbitrary in most cases, but UDP :9 is most common for the broadcast. (That's also what I used in the "UDP WOL" SIMPL example program's UDP/IP Communications definition in my previous post.)

The example shown in the API docs is a POST request with multipart form data, so I would start with that:?
I don't see an example of actually uploading a file though, just pointing to an existing one.

Has anyone successfully added or modified a program file on a VC4?
I've tried but have been unable to make it work.
I can query the existing programs using the following;

Thank you for all your comments and advice. On this particular installation most displays will use Crestron Connected, however, some are utilising a Kramer keypad so I was trying to get my head around the whole WOL thing, and using a platform I am more familiar with seemed the best idea. @? One of the issues I have seen is only partial downgrades on the processors with control subnet. Pay attention to the puf results chart. In some cases, I have had success downgrading all components by puf-ing twice (same puf file).?

Nope, not true, the INIT/RESTORE process forces it in newer firmware¡even if it had been off since day one. And the behavior was confirmed by Crestron: ¡±? But I am seeing the same as you're reporting.
After updating FW from v1.503 to v1.8001, FORCED_AUTH_MODE is enabled and AUTH+SSL auto-reenabled w/ the creds that were applied prior to v1.503 AUTH+SSL OFF.¡±

Has anyone else looked at the new exam?
I am curious if it's the same style/difficulty as the previous 3.
I have the new one sitting in the dashboard and I want to plan my time accordingly.
Last exam I took 3 years ago took me over a couple hundred hours.
Hoping the time commitment toned down a bit!

I'm sure that you can still config/compile in VTP.? I never use the transfer box directly in VTP or SMW (Just prefer using TBx...sort of...)
Are the 4L's communicating with Cresnet or Network? if Cresnet, I wonder if it might just be that the 4-series doesn't like loading Cresnet TPs directly??
If you can go IP, I'm sure that would still work...
