Spacer has scene 1-5, brighter, dimmer, on and off. ?IR is one way control with no feedback. ?What you are describing is not possible nor reliable with IR.

I've used CCD's myself with quite a fair amount of success. There were various DB releases that broke some things, but the RAD framework should've been updated to use isolated AppDomains...

I have done several large projects with ccd's.
For the amount of effort, I wish I had just went with regular old sio.
I really like the idea but everytime I use them something happens that causes issues.

? ? How can a IR controlled?Lutron Spacer light switch be pulsed for a certain length of time and stored?

The Lutron Spacer module has brightness, dim, Off/On. What I would like to have is 10 presets labeled 10% - 100% which is the brightness level going up the scale and vice versa.

What I can't figure out is:
1) If the lights are at 40% and I press 80%, the brightness goes up to 80%, store this value, and if I press 20%, the lights dim and store this value. I don't understand the NVRAM stuff.
2) I think it would be handy on the touch panel that if I press the 40% button that it stays illuminated until I press another percentage value
3) If I press brightness or dim, the percentage button goes off until I get to the next highest or lowest percentage.

Thanks for your help and if you think that I'm out of my mind, I can take it. :)

These things are giving me all kinds of grief.? They just stop working.? I had one job with 3 rooms....all 3 rooms stopped working on the same day after about 5 or 6 weeks of working fine.? These are all with planar displays.?? I have other jobs with samsung displays and same thing -? the driver just stops working until i reboot the processor.? I tried reloading the driver at regular intervals and a few other things to try to keep it alive but i am about to give up on certified drivers altogether.

I would defer to what Lincoln is saying, and I think that Phil brings up a good point concerning the format if the response:
CPU:? 2.3% usr? 2.3% sys? 0.0% nic 95.2% idle? 0.0% io? 0.0% irq? 0.0% sirq?

It definitely reads to me as 95.2% Idle. all the other items seem to show their identifier after the %...

I can't recommend a brand, as I'm not sure the brands used, but all the switchable glass that I've used in commercial environments were all low voltage relay controlled, which made it dead simple to control from Crestron using relays.

On one project, the room had glass walls on 3 sides of the room, which were made from 3-4ft wide panels of privacy glass from floor to ceiling tall.? In that case, each panel had it's own LVC box connected to it in the ceiling, that we tied into with relays.? I think there were 20-something panels in total around the 3 sides of the room, so we used a relay expander for all the relays we needed.? I think they used single latched relays, latched close to make transparent, open for opaque (so that opaque was the default state of the glass).

Fun note, this was fun to play with, since each pane was controlled independently, I could make the room transition from opaque to transparent instantly, or I could animate the panels when changing them.? I had a couple chases setup, where the panels transitioned one at a time from one side of the room to the other, as a quick sequence.? This was in a demo room for a client, and they LOVED playing with it to show each other and their clients.

A warning, of all the glass brands I've seen, most are not as transparent as normal glass.? While I'm sure some are better than others, they doesn't pass as much light as normal glass, so it looks a little darker.? There are usually some other visual artifacts as well, like possible blurring (not as sharp to look through), and also double-image ghosting is another that I've seen (however that was on the thicker variant that was commercial glass over 1/2" thick).? Not bad, but just be aware.? Technology may have gotten better in the last couple years too, so maybe these aren't issues anymore.

Thanks - I did run across Glass Apps before starting the thread.? I seemed a few people had made mention of them and looked into the company but realized the same issue about them being out of business (or re-branded?)

It is possible the Aux outputs on the Jandy itself are not setup? I have also seen this when the Aux is actually used for colored lights. It wont work in that instance because it really isnt a toggle- it is meant to step thru the various colors of a light from the app. Did you try using the iAqualink app and logging in with the site's credentials and debug against that??

We used glass from a company named Glass Apps a couple years ago on a project (seems like now they are out of business) and we were able to use a 2DIM8 output to switch it on (clear) and off (opaque). Worked fine with no issues. It was dimmable as well but just didn't see the need for it- either you want privacy or no privacy. That company also offered a film that could be applied to regular glass and controlled the same way.?

Can the PRO3 DRAM be physically swapped with another PRO3?

Thanks, that's what I assumed but it does not work for me.? The module is connected and displays all the relevant data (including the condition of AUX 1) but pulsing AUX1 does nothing.??
