Sonos dropping offline
Have a customer that we took over.? system is 2 rooms with playbars.? There are more Sonos devices in the system, but not that we are controlling.? He added a boost to the system a while back which forced the sonos to update and I did a remote update of the sonos modules to 3.0.? Not sure if the issue is related to the boost, but now the playbars drop offline from crestron control and I am unable to get it back without a reboot of the processor.? Wanted to reach out and see if anyone else had experienced this issue. Processor is a DIN-AP3EX updated with latest firmware the other day. |
Re: Vaddio RoboSHOT 30 TCP/IP Control
I appreciate it either way I will try that module. I have tried a couple others but not this one. I am mainly an anti-module programmer as I find Modules tend to do things that I don't want them to do and I cannot control it. I prefer to be able to control at all costs even if it means I have to do 40 blocks and 50 lines of programming compared to a single line in a module. I also looked inside the 3 modules and there wasn't clarification to me on what they were doing to get the functions to work. In the end I will attempt this one. Thanks for the quick response.

Re: Vaddio RoboSHOT 30 TCP/IP Control
TCP/IP control on the Vaddio cameras does require a login to establish a full connection.? Not sure if you are doing this or not.? When I have controlled these cameras in the past, I setup a macro to login upon the TCP/IP connection.? Once that done, the protocol in the user manual should work fine.

Vaddio RoboSHOT 30 TCP/IP Control
I have a RoboSHOT camera that I am attempting to control via TCP/IP. I have read the manual on the Camera for control information and the code they give me in the manual does not appear to work. I am utilizing TCP/IP Client and Serial I/O blocks to achieve this as when I attempt to put in a camera Module it does not allow me to upload the project to the CP3N. |
Re: CLW-DIMEXP Air Gap Switch
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýFWIW, I¡¯ve noticed this when switch itself or switch plate is screwed in too far, usually after electrician has done the install and our crew has done the engraved buttons weeks laterTrey On Jan 9, 2019, at 12:41 PM, Jonny ComeAlive@... [Crestron] <Crestron@...> wrote:

CLW-DIMEXP Air Gap Switch
anyone else have problems with the air gap switch getting stuck in the open position, I think that people are just hitting the bottom of the switch to turn it off, and then on accident hit the airgap switch also and then whole home scenes show the wrong feedback because it is open, any solution other than super gluing it shut? seems to happen on the switches that are multi-ganged, on uneven services and such. I have tried to get the switches perfectly flush on the wall etc. but it keeps happening.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThanks, but that is rtsp ? I reached out to a smarty at Axis and they told me for mjpeg: ? ?/streamprofile=profilename ? I was waiting till we get back on site to test the string before I updated the group though. ? From: Crestron@... <Crestron@...>

Re: DMC-4KZ-C-DSP Audio output into an Avia 1280
If you are doing stereo, you can wire unbalanced to balanced on the DSP. Each channel gets their own input on the DSP. If you only need mono, you can use an OWI Amp-Stcomb with a RCA to 3.5mm TRS into a single balanced input on the DSP.?

Re: Bypass auto start/stop
With bypass on, nothing unusual happens when you load a program -- only that slot gets restarted. With bypass off, if you load Program1 and you also have a Program2 loaded, Toolbox will stop Program2 while it uploads Program1, then restart it afterwards.? Higher numbered programs are arbitrarily considered "dependent" on lower numbered programs. I've never seen a good reason to have bypass off.
