Xpanel Not refreshing in Explorer
I am working with an MPC-M10.? I have to use the old style Xpanel because of available memory in the processor (customer insists on browser method so EXE option is off the table). I loaded the xpanel to the processor and connected with my windows 10 laptop running internet explorer 11.? The Xpanel will not refresh to a new project.? Spent 2 hours on the phone with crestron and they had me try it from a different windows 7 PC (which did load the new project file).
I deleted all files, renamed, changed folders, deleted browsing history, cleared cache, run in admin mode, tried compatibility mode, changed around activex settings, deleted 64 bit files from xpanel folder, add core3 xpanel module to simpl program, deleted all projects from processor, initialized processor, restored processor, rebuilt XPanel vtz from a fresh project , rebuilt the simpl windows project from a fresh file,? and a few other things i probably forgot in the last 6 hours of trying to get a stupid web page to refresh.?? Does anybody here have any ideas that i might not have tried? |
Re: IR file for Cisco CHS 335HDC (Verizon FIOS Cable Box)
This thread is obviously old, but figured I'd post an answer anyway, for others searching...
The Motorola QIP6416 IR driver in the database seems to work, at least for the commands we're using (which most everything except the recording/playback controls). The technician on site says he's not seeing any double/triple commands going out, which is apparently a common issue with drivers for this box. Josh Winn The LiquidPixel Group |

Re: Convert Serial with negative numbers to analog
It's not a module.? It's a S+ command. On Thu, Dec 8, 2016 at 1:36 PM, Bill Broadwick bill_broadwick@... [Crestron] <Crestron@...> wrote:

Re: Honeywell Vista 128PBT
I finally had to call Honeywell tech support to get the 128BPT working. Apparently you have the codes that you use via serial are tied to the user. The module does not expose the user ID entrance, so you need to open it up and expose it. It's a really stupid setup so the user needs to know which code is tied to which user ID to arm/disarm via serial.

DMPS3-4k-150-C Lost Program
client called me "meeting room does't work"-- teamveiwered in to see that DMPS3 had reverted to it's out of the box program on slot 1(AV Framework). I put my program back and all is well , but client wants to know what happened. Talked to TB and they said the only way they can think that this could occur is if power cycled like 4-5 times in a few seconds. The unit could go into restore mode and then boot up with OOTB program. Only problem with this is unit is on UPS. Anybody experience this weirdness? |
Re: Controlling third party device through Extron DTP Crosspoint Switcher via DTP RX and TX
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. It was very helpful. Here is how i was able to solve this issue.
1. Null cable connection between DTP to Display. Null cable connection between captive screw to serial port of controller. 2. Issue EscO03*0LRPT to the port where the dtp is connected. |
Re: Controlling third party device through Extron DTP Crosspoint Switcher via DTP RX and TX
Hi,
Extron devices are always labeled as follows: Rx: Extron device receives RS232 Tx: Extron device sends RS232 DTP Crosspoint supports RS232 and IR extension over DTP. Please ensure that you are connected to the RS232 pins, not the IR. DTP Rx has 2 outputs with 5 pin captive screw: Audio and RS232/IR. Please check and ensure that the projector is connected to the RS232 port, no the audio... You can check Extron communication sheets for wiring between Rx and NEC. Best regards P.S.: DTP Crosspoint support "Serial over Ethernet", saving COM ports on the control system. Change from "Captive Screw" to "Ethernet insertion" in PCS and adjust the baud parameters. In the control system use a TCP Client, point it to the IP address of the DTP Crosspoint, use the port that is displayed in PCS (2001 is input 1, 2002 input, etc). The DTP Rx will output the RS232 to the projector. Crestronfreak55, who is also an Extronfreak ![]() |
