Re: control samsung LED WALL ( UD55D)

If you go to the Samsung site and then click on " for business ¡°, then click on ¡° support ¡°, then enter ¡° UD55D ¡° in the search box and select search, you will find a tab called ¡°manuals¡± which contains links to the operators manuals in various languages. ?Selecting the manual for the language of your choice, then reading that manual, will reveal on or about page 32 the complete set of commands you can send to it. ?It also includes various connection methods, pin-outs, how to calculate checksum, how to send a command to ¡°all¡± sets to simultaneously control them, and pretty much all you will need to use to be able to control your video wall.

Re: Remote Access Crestron Mobile iPhone APP

Just
?would like to thanks everybody that try to help me with my crestron mobile app, I call Comcast and after arguing, they got me someone that new how to put modem in bridge mode the right way, now all my routing are being done by my Linksys router, I check all my port and for HTTP:80 is now open, my problem still the same I can login into my system within my WiFi, but outside the network doesn't work just connecting but never connect, to system, I get back on my home WiFi and work great again, using any IP address, my network IP, and even my outside address, but I put my phone on the AT&T 4G LTE it doesn't work.? I will figure something out, I guess, if any body still got any suggestion is always welcome to comment.? Thanks everyone.

Re: control samsung LED WALL ( UD55D)

I don't believe that there is an existing module that does everything you want to do.? You will need to use the Samsung MDC specifications to get the commands.? (Pull the Samsung Checksum Generator out of any of the Samsung modules as it will keep you from having the calculate the checksums yourself)

Re: OT: Ethernet + HDMI over UTP

We've had success with the Binary HDBaseT extenders. They have a model that meets your requirements and is (relatively) inexpensive:?

Key clicks revisited

Tom Kadlec

I am getting hammered by my sales guys to get key clicks on the TSW's I
have tried on the 1050 and the 1052. I have some mp3 files that work
and some that I have created in Audacity, but they don't work.

I just want a simple 'key click' mp3 file that I can load into the panel
and provide some kind of audible feedback for the Smartgraphics panels.
Creating the logic is a pain especially when you have multiple panels,
but that's life in the Chore3 world.

Can anyone recommend a audio file editing program that will export TSW
compatible formats or if someone can share their favorite key click mp3
file, I would forever be in your debt (not much debt, but debt
nonetheless)

Thanks

Has anyone else had a problem with TSW-1050 touch panels just freezing up and not responding?? They are connected to DMPS-300 systems.? The only way to get them to respond again to do a re-boot then they a fine for awhile.? The panels still are reachable on the AV Vlan and that is how I usually re-boot them.
?
Thanks
Jim

Re: 552 Panels

We have now had to get RMA's for 15 (fifteen) TSW-xx52 series panels so far. ?All of them were 752's or 1052's. ?Symptoms have all been slightly different but also slightly similar. ?

In the end all of them ended up being bricked and had no choice but to replace. ?It would happen during firmware updates mostly, other times it was just when we reboot the panel after putting in a static IP.

Some of them the project would just erase in the panel after a month or so and when I try to update to the latest firmware, brick.

Some of them certain smart graphics (ie horizontal tab) would just disappear after about a month of use. ?initialize, restore, firmware update, then brick.

The ones that don't brick might just get stuck in loading. ?What is weird about these ones is device discovery tool will see them but I am unable to connect with any other tools or even ping them. ?

TB told me that they haven't really heard of any 52 series panels going bad and we are unusual. ?Glad and sad to hear that we are not the only company with these problems. ?As of now we are replacing all 52 series panels with 50 series panels on all future orders until they are more stable. ?

Because they didn't read the API? It clearly states that the IR emulation
commands are non-functional.

Re: OT: Ethernet + HDMI over UTP

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Just a DM-TX plus a DM-RMC?

?

If you only need IR at the display end, a TX-201-C would be fine; if you need IR out at both ends, a TX-401-C

?

Keep in mind that with this option if you want to control both devices you will need two IP addresses and regardless two MAC addresses will show up on the switch port (+ whatever¡¯s on the other end of the link)

Subject: [Crestron] OT: Ethernet + HDMI over UTP

Hi all - I am having problems with a DM install where we just need to extend a single HDMI and ethernet over UTP Cat6 close to 100m. There is no possibility to run another cable, and the existing DM is already fully expanded so DM isn't an option either. We installed an Atlona (HDTX-RSNET and RX) but the signal would drop frequently from time to time.

Does anyone have a reasonably priced but reliable recommendation to carry HDMI + Ethernet + IR over UTP? I am looking at Key Digital but have no prior experience with the product.

Appreciate any advice! Siong
