Re: Simpl module

lunartech

You may find that this question and any other module related questions can
be answered by opening an instance of SIMPL, set it up as a module then
click on the ArgumentDefinition in program view then hit F1.

This will get you a help page that explains how to set the parameter
properties (close to bottom of page) inside a module and many other useful
pieces of information on how to set up a module.

Subject: [Crestron] Simpl module

I want to create a module in Simpl, which contains an analog initialize
feeding into an analog equate.

I want the module to have a parameter field, so that I can for example in
parameter field 1, enter 1d, this then needs to feed both the initialize and
equate that value.

A neat thing to have, but not necessary, would be to have its value set to a
default of 1d for field 1, 2d for field 2 etc.

Is this possible to do in Simpl or do I need to enter the world of S+ for
this?

Any help appreciated.

Re: NewOld.csp error in complie log

Ahh, there lies the rub. Having been following the posts recently re 3.01.22.00 I'm a bit loath to upgrade just yet. We are trying to maintain similar stable environments on all our machines so I may just downgrade the Crestron Database to 23.05.010.01.

I only upgraded that to get the myCrestron DNS demo working.

Thanks for the info Robert.
Kind regards
Gary

Square D has a 120v coil DPDT 30 Amp relay with device mounting box that I use on exterior in ground lighting to isolate the switch from the lighting. Around $85.00.

I would imagine you can use a 120V coil relay to to that (as long as the
switched voltage rating is sufficient. Mount the relay in a J-Box near the

Are you able to power the 120V CLW properly? I didn't realize that Canada's

Re: 120volts to trig 347Volts solution

What you require is called a three phase "contactor" with a 120 volt coil.
I am assuming that 347 volts is three phase, I not familiar with your power system in Canada.
the American company Square D mfg.'s then in the states, but it is a common item. Confirm that the 120 volt coil on the contactor is with in the amp rating of the Crestron switch. I'm sure it will be well within the limits.

I've found the module on google code.
I compiled it with SMPL+ and can see the module in SIMPL windows

NewOld.csh gets created in the \SPlsWork but I cannot find NewOld.csp so assume it gets deleted after the compile.

Any ideas what may be causing these errors?

Re: MTX-3 Subpage Join Number Crash

I have had the same problem recently.

Talk to True Blue, they have a firmware fix for it....

Hey All:

Got a big of an odd one. I'm working with a MTX-3 and I am receiving a warning that

"Application MTX-3.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down"

I have found the root cause of this error. I have a page with three subpages. I have digital join numbers on the first and third subpage. However, if I add a digital join number to the second subpage I get the error message. It does not matter what join number I give it. Whether the join has a associated command within my program or not the error still pops up. I have rebuilt the page a number of times and initialized the device a number of times to no avail.

Any thoughts?

I have a customer with a system with a dm-md8x8 and an mpc m50 as a controler. The customer shuts the power off to the system when not in use. When they turn the power back on the dm 8x8 takes longer to boot then the mpc. The users tend to start pushing buttons to turn on the projector, connected via a dm rmc 100, before there is communication throu the switcher.

Is there a feedback signal in the switcher that lets you know it is ready so I can trigger a warming up message on the m50?

Thanks LBC
