Josh.ai and Creston NAX Integration & Autonomics MMS
I found an issue using Josh.ai and NAX. We put in an Autonomics MMS and it is a suitable workaround.? Wondering if anyone has come across a better solution.

Issue:
When the Internal Music Stream of the NAX is being used and then Josh is activated, the Audio Input changes to Josh Audio so it can respond through the speakers; and when the Josh reply is complete, Josh would return to the previous Input; however, Josh was unable to return to the Internal ¡°Input¡± of the NAX for streaming ¨C so clients would lose music after using Josh and would need to restart the Spotify or Pandora Stream from the NAX. ?
Using the Mirage Music Server, MMS-3e, works but still have found the MMS frequently freeze and need to be setup on a daily 3am power cycle.? Was hoping the new e-series would solve this generational issue with MMS devices; but it still needs the daily power cycle (which is a horrible way to design something, but tends to work).

Sonos is more solid, but the integration with Crestron App is not as good as MMS.? I contacted Josh.ai, and it doesn't look like they are working on a fix to the integration issue above.? Just throwing this out there in case anyone has similar issues or options.

Re: CP4 (4-series?) program stopping after program load
I notice that uploading programs vis 4 series web page (CP4 in this case) is very unreliable.?
It will work 1 time in 3. Most times, I just get a message that ' There was an error uploading file. Error: device response timeout error'?
?
I have come to expect this from Toolbox but now loading via web page is no longer a viable option.?
Like others, I find that the currently running program will not stop or stop completely via text console or web page.?
?
The only consistent fix for this is to do Initialize after every program load which slows the debug process to a crawl ( if Simpl debug work at all that day... )

CSP-LSP: Anyone find a substitute device for this discontinued Cresnet Lightning Strike Protector?
We have a Hangar with a remote building, in a bad weather area, using a few Cresnet keypads.? Looking for an alternative to the CSP-LSP to help guard against lighting strikes and power surge.? Wondering if anyone has found anything or had any success with an alternative device?

DM-TXRX-100-STR to TSW-1070 / how to make it work?
I am trying to stream video from a Crestron DM-TXRX-100-STR to a TSW-1070 panel. TXRX is running latest posted firmware.?
Cannot get this to work. The DM-TXRX-100-STR setup page 'stream status' always shows 'waiting for client to connect'. I am uncertain that the TXRX is actually sending video since the multicast traffic does not pass across VPN to my programming PC.?
Any ideas of how to make this work??

Teams Room Integration

I have read a couple of the threads related to Teams Room and see most are running away at this time. I do have a client that has 3 large Meeting Rooms that are divisible currently using the WebEx Appliance that is integrated into the Crestron Control System - they want to switch to 3 Teams Room and use the existing Crestron 10" touch panels (the Teams Room Panel could go in the rack). Another control system I used in the past with Zoom Rooms was fairly simple to move between the Zoom Room Interface & the Custom Control Interface for a Mayor & City Council Chamber Room. Have never really programmed in HTML5 and looking at the amount of work required to create a CH5 archive (.ch5z) - looks daunting. In one of the threads, someone mentioned the use of SWM "extenders" to go back and forth between the Teams Room Interface & the Custom Control Interface? Is SWM referring to SW-Mobility app? And what "extenders" Thanks |

Yeah, that's fairly common. The app usually hangs because it cannot find the project file. A few things to check / try is changing the name of the project file. Keep the file name short and use dashes instead of spaces. The file name in the simpl extender must match the project name. For instance, if the vtp file is called iPad-project.vtp the device extender name should be iPad-project / I've found that the app doesn't deal well with spaces and special characters. Usually changing the name to something simple resolves this. In addition, check debug while the iPad is trying to connect, and you'll most likely see its respective iPid reaching out to the processor. Hope this helps. |

I have the same issue here with a TS-570, loaded a project built in construct and got black background with spinner.
I opened a ticket with TB and sent them my file, it loads properly on their side.
My TS-570 does not have an internet access, does yours have? They say there could be a possibility that the panel is trying to load or update something but they're not sure. It's my first attempt at Construct and so far I had to revert to VTpro for this project.?

My processor is an RMC4, but I don't think it has anything to do with that either. |

VC4 and Bacnet Issues
Hello group
does anyone has done bacnet with the vc4. when I add the bacnet device slot it shows ok at the bacnet explorer (yabe), but when I add any hosted object to the program, it neither show the object at the explorer and now I lost the device too at yabe..
I have open, I guess did it well, the port that I am using (47809), but I am not sure if I have to do more stuff at the linux server for letting the bacnet objects to show in the bacnet ecosystem..
any experienced advices?

Crestron Go for Android, how to upload a local file?
It seems that last week crestron app was removed from the play store and now crestron go is avl.? I can not figure out how to get a local file into crestron go, I have been using crestron go on ios fine, it uploads via toolbox but the android version will not connect to toolbox.? Please help, my files are too big for the host controllers I use.

The project I'm working on requires it to be a 3 series processor.
The CH5-Xpanel file select option is disabled. Enabled on 4-series.
I've also tried to load it to a 4series and manipulate the URL to but that didn't work either.

Eric and Daniel, That is interesting!
I have a tool to load our projects that I've been using for 7+ years, with both 3 and 4-series. with 4-series since the beginning and only started seeing this issue ~9-12 months ago as I can remember.
Our tool stops the program then processed the transfer and start to the load.
I'll try manually stopping the program before we update and see if this helps...
