Custom EDID for DM 4KZ Input card that we're using for a 4K AppleTV with a 4K/Atmos Theater

My Partner's setup, which includes a Sony 715ES projector, Indy Audio Muse now replaced with a Trinnov (which is unreal!), 16x16/4kz cards+RMCs and a 4K ATV and KScape Strato, has required a lot of hacking over the last year to get it to start playing nice in this area. We think that things are pretty stable now...
Try one of two EDID settings:
The DM has a default options for '4K60 444 HBR HDR' try this first. This is on the KScape input card
Also we had someone (Crestron maybe) create a custom EDID that is currently being used with the AppleTV. It's called 'MOM - HSR82T_C_Out10_3' and I'll place it in the files section...

Though I think that we have things working well now, unfortunately my feeling is that all technology today is kind of walking a knife's edge and the more complicated/sophisticated things are, the more likely it is to fall off the edge...

Has anyone sniffed the cec data exchange? May be it is now looking for a handshake that Crestron modules don't provide?

For me I've found the A2843 is fine and the A1842 is broke. Both using Crestron CEC through NVX.

The digital media firmware release notes states that Atmos doesn't work. No word if or when it will be added.

I developed an integration driver a long time ago, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with the latest NHC firmware.

Let me know if you'd like to try it, and I can post it in the files section if needed.

Being an avid Formula 1 race fan, Ive just set myself up with a program called F1 Multiviewer which allows me to watch multiple video streams of the race.? F1MV uses a GraphQL API to allow control of the individual players and it would be amazing to put some of those controls on my Crestron panel.??

OK, just noticed the same settings are greyed out on the RMC3 but that connects using the same program.

Is there something in the CP3 that blocks the connection from the Crestron App/Go?? Authentication is off.

I cannot get iPads to connect to a CP3.

In Ethernet Addressing CTP and SCTP are empty and the option to enable them is greyed out.

In CIP the port entries are included but enable is greyed out.

I cannot see how to reenable the ports.? ?I have tried resetting the CP3.

Any thoughts or is the ethernet card done for?

Have not found any way to perform a hard factory reset for the Sharp EQ1 series displays. From all of my readings - I may be able to reset the password for the web browser by resetting the Network defaults within the Menu. While not 100% sure - then the user ID/ password for admin rights would be: dispadmin / @Panasonic ?

The rumor is they are coming out with an updated API and a module that will work with the Media Player App

A factory reset of the monitor to set its credentials to default? Then you will be able to access its web interface.

Jason Mussetter, I really appreciate your suggestion to use Hercules. That program is pretty stunning. I was able to send the hex commands and it didn't append any additional characters. I also was able to strip down my program a bit just to remove any other moving parts. It's possible I added a carriage return without realizing it by hitting the enter key when putting hex codes into the prompt in debug. So, likely just user error, which undoubtedly many of you suspected :)

Slip Cougan, I've downloaded that ex-link module and I'll explore it more. It seems very powerful and could likely simplify the whole project.?

I appreciate everyone's input and help moving me forward. I've made considerable progress because of all the helpful info you've all provided. I deeply appreciate the support. This stuff isn't straightforward, but I can see how it all comes together.

Issue is I can not access the Sharps web server to confirm any of the parameters? None of the ID/Passwords in the docs / Internet have not worked?

IPID is set correctly on the display for RoomView Connected control? With the IPID converted to decimal instead of hex?

Hello all,

I posted this in the facebook group but figured I'd try here as well.? ?I have 3 new Ipads 9s installed running the CH app in Guided access "kiosk mode".? After a few hours or less, they lose their connected to the system.? Minimizing the app and reopening fixes it.? ?I tried connecting via Hostname, IP, and cloud.? Same result? ?Ipads and Iphones that aren't permanently installed work fine.? I setup an ipad via cloud at my house and it stays connected all day.? ?Network in the house is unifi.

Any suggestions?? ?Running out of things to try.? ?TB heard something about it, but didn't have an immediate suggestion.

Where did you find this info? Have you found a help file? the demo program that I just downloaded didn't have any PDFs in the Zip...
The only module in the file is the (crap) CCD TV Tuner Ethernet v2.2 (cm) whose help file is generic (unless I missed something)
