OBVIOUSLY?"you're holding it wrong", lol. Seriously though, I haven't heard of anyone experiencing this issue yet and we have apple TV's on almost every single job. I will update one of my personal apple TV's and see if I have the same issue this weekend. Don't want anything to cut into my Ahsoka watching tonight!

If this is a standard crestron IR file you can edit the number of repeats the code sends out on each individual press in toolbox and try testing the new code. Sometimes the default minimum can be lowered and the code will still work.

Mmmm...I don't remember anyone complaining about this until the last week or two...? ?It is really annoying... We tracked in DBug that a press/release on the IR driver of .5sec or less (480msec) would launch the edit menu. *** There is no way in any logical world that a .5sec P+H makes sense for normal human ergonomics...But I guess I'm wrong because Apple thinks it's right...:(

In the last week or so on the Apple TV home screen, we've started seeing an issue with the Select Button bringing up the 'Edit Home Screen' menu instead of selecting the item.
If you're really fast with your click, it works as expected but if you do a normal press (.5sec or less) it brings up the menu.
I have a dealer that I work with, that says the same normal press starts the item jiggling, which for that to happen for me, requires a true P+H as expected. the difference could be how we have our P+H setup on each unit.
I've been using this CresDB 4th gen IR driver for years with zero issues so this seems to be something on Apple's side.
Anyone else experiencing similar issues??

TVos 17 update has changed a couple things.? Immediately noticeable is the icons are smaller and there is one more column of them. ? Using the OEM hand remote, previously you could press and hold the control center button (looks like a TV screen on right side of remote, menu is on the left) and a pop-up would show up with something like ¡°shut down connected devices¡± highlighted.? Pressing select would shut down the appleTV and also the TV, if the TV control was enabled/configured.? Now the shut down . . . has been changed to Power Off and it is not highlighted, so you have to hit select twice.? WTF is wrong with the engineers at apple, why couldn¡¯t they have auto-highlighted Power Off?? No matter.? Also, if configured, pressing Menu would wake the apple tv and turn on the TV.? That still works the same. ? I hadn¡¯t noticed the select thing on the hand remote, but it is likely that they ¡°improved¡± the button response for TVos 17. ? It is, and you can specify a destination, to a degree. If you use Openfileshared in S+ it would go into the /user folder.?
I feel like I need to be cagey with my replies though, because this function is part of the scope of the current Crestron Certified Programmer exam.

Sounds like you want fgetfile cmd using sftp or https to access the webserver root folder.

I spoke to the folks at Shelly.? Yes, yes you can add 3rd party
Bluetooth devices to their Bluetooth Gateway.? However, you will
have to write some custom JavaScript on the gateway to get them to
work with a Crestron processor.? You can find some example code
for doing that here:

Did you check the "Voice Control: Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Josh.ai, TSW / TSR" article's "Processor Registration and Linking to an Amazon or Google Account" section?
"TimedOutLocal" sounds like the processor isn't reaching the service/internet. That article instructs you to look at the default router (IPCONFIG, PING <DEFR>), DNS entries (LISTDNS/ADDDNS), PING GOOGLE.COM, and TIMEDATE settings with regards to internet access and ability to authenticate with the service.
If at any point during troubleshooting you hit the "Delete" button to unregister the processor's MAC Address from the service, you'll also need to make sure the SIMPL Voice Control modules were updated to the latest v2.0.0 versions to re-register. (Systems using v1.x continue to work, but all new registrations require v2.x)

Does anyone have a module to control this unit? Client is connecting 4 Roboshot 30 cameras to this unit that I need to control. The AV Bridge Matrix is being controlled via RS232.
