If you have "Create archive and embed into compiled program" set in SIMPL, then you can for 3 and 4 series. It will be on the processor in the App** dir as a zip file.

If that's not set, there's now way to recover it from the processor.

Only if you were putting the archive on the processor.

It's a setting in Simpl that needs to be enabled to auto archive the program to the processor when you load a program.

Has anybody used Poly Eagle Eye IV cameras with Global Cache iTach serial ports?? I have two EE4 cameras here that let me power them on and off from my VC-4 instance, but will not P, T, or Z.? They work fine when plugged directly into the codec.

No problem. NVX can even run on Cat5e so you have more than enough...
I had a grounding issue with using unshielded Cat6 and a POE switch (Injector/power supply) early on. Had to ground the remote units locally - PITA
So unless you need the 8G cable for something else, use that if you plan to power them from a POE+ switch

If you need to reterminate the 8G, I HIGHLY recommend looking at the Belden REVconnect system.
Its the only thing we use for all RJ terminations now and with shielded, Its even a bigger advantage...unless you really enjoy terminating the Crestron Cat7A connectors...HaHa!

My current DM system is now starting to show it's age.
My house is currently wired with CAT6 & DM-8G cable.
I'm planning on using the 8G infra-structure for NVX as re-wiring is simply not an option in my 110yr old house.

EPson has a new setting in their projectors. Go under “AV Settings” under the menu, and turn to ALWAYS ON. By default it is set to only while on. I had to do this to a batch of L510U and L530U Epsons on a mass room upgrade last year. This should help the issue.

I have 3 Epson projectors works fine on Roomview command via HDBT.?

The issue i have is one projector will lose Lan connection once it is power off. I can see at Crestron DMxMD, that DM port RJ45 Green led OFF, which is not happening on the other two. I swap the DM cable, which doing the same thing (it is not DM or Cable issue).

I have all three projectors setting same.
On HDBT it set to pass control.
On LAN it set to keep communication ON.?

Anything i miss here?

Any chance anyone has a module for this unit? Customer swapped it out on their own, and of course nothing works. I have had a look at their protocol manual and it's just mind boggling. Was hoping for something that has intput/output/level analog and a take command digital to send it all out, but I'll take anything at this point to try and reverse engineer what is going on and the checksum. Really would be very much appreciated.

I don't see the C2N-DB12 as a class but I was able to register it as CNXB12 without any errors, so does that means it should be fine?

Just had this issue pop up yesterday, on a system that had been running for several months.? Two projectors running on 08 and 09.? On a VC-4.? Wouldn't re-associate.? I finally punted and just went direct to the port and sent the on/off commands.? ?Everything works.? Great.? I'm just cleaning up after adding what I was originally supposed to do and go into the VC4 GUI.? Check devices just for the heck of it.? Damn projector is sitting there, ready to associate.? ?Connects just fine.? Had issues with an Epson and a VC4 room a few months back and TB and I played for over an hour to get it to play nice.? Like everything else, I love/hate EPSON/LG/Samsung/NEC, etc.

I second what Oliver said, I just tried to control a Sony with the Crestron Connected Display symbol and it would connect but not control. Swapped to the?"Roomview Connected Display" module and it worked.

Do you have the projector's LAN enabled over the HDBaseT connection (if that's what you're using)?

Years ago, I had one that started working after I updated the projector's firmware.
