CLX-2DIMU8 flashing 1-2 error code pattern on outputs 5 through 8
#lighting
Hello guys,
I'm currently experiencing an issue with a CLX-2DIMU8 lighting module. This module was installed Thursday of last week (with no issues) and just yesterday it started flashing a 1-2 error code on the LEDs for the 5 through 8 outputs. The user manual mentions making sure power is being supplied to the unit, and we already made sure of that. Is there a way to restore functionality for these outputs? |
Re: Shelly Cloud devices integration in Crestron Home - UI question

That's a real shame.
Is there a workaround or trick or something along those lines that would facilitate the use of these devices in the Home UI? instead of navigating to each tile for each device. |
Re: CRESTRON CONSTRUCT first impressions
Yea I tried importing one of our templates which is very graphics heavy and it completely destroyed it. Half of the objects didnt come thru or arent supported yet. We are far away from being able to import existing VT files. Unless maybe you have cookie cutter basic UI projects. No Media Player makes it a non-starter for now for any of our deployments anyway.?

Re: CRESTRON CONSTRUCT first impressions
Out of curiosity I imported a recent TSW-770 project.
Well, I won't be using it to modify existing projects that's for sure. Some quick observations: * Animation object style changed from ring to spinner * Animation object size changed * Rectangular gauges changed to rounded rectangle * Rectangular Advanced buttons changed to rounded rectangular * Imported project did not respect hidden subpages - every subpage is visible - very slow to load Overall the software is painfully slow on my Dell XPS i7. Choosing to close the subpage I was looking at I was prompted to save or discard changes. I selected discard and it took about 30s to decide to close the page. After those initial observations I simply gave up and closed the application. Hopefully it can only get better, but for now I'll leave it alone. |
Re: Nest Thermostat control?
I think you're hosed for the moment. I had a project (4-5 years ago) that had integration with the NEST Tstats and it worked well.
Then I needed to swap out the processor just after Google changed/deprecated their 3rd party integration or something like that...:( Nest integration went from working to not working in an hour... Gotta love it...HaHa |

Crestron has not yet released an API for a CH light. Until then it wont be possible to have a a third party light (aside Lutron) to be grouped in the native lighting tile.?

Shelly Cloud devices integration in Crestron Home - UI question
#crestronhome
Hello guys,
Just wanted to ask a quick question, is there a way to make a Shelly Cloud device appear inside the lighting tile of a Crestron Home UI? The device works as advertised, but the issue I'm currently facing is that each Shelly device appears as a single tile, and I want them to be grouped together within a tile or inside the lighting tile of the Home UI. Thanks. |
Re: Upgrading from CEN-RFGW-EX to CEN-GWEXER
Recommend Audible, or a good show to binge watch.? On Mon, Jun 5, 2023 at 8:45?AM johnh via <johnh=[email protected]> wrote: Yea they used to have a Gateway Backup/Restore in Toolbox. From what I remember you could only do it once for whatever reason. Doesnt look like that option is even available anymore.? |
Nest Thermostat control?
Has anyone used the Nest module lately? Does it still work?
When I try to link to the clients account I get this: "Set up this device in the Google Home app Now that you¡¯ve migrated your Nest account to Google, use the Google Home app to connect devices that work with your Nest devices. Go to the Google Home app, tap Add > Set up device > Have something already set up? Then find the name of the company that makes the device you¡¯re adding." I've tried that but have not had any luck. |
Re: DM8x8 - all 5 room boxes have problems?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýJust a shot in the dark but my (4) DM-MD8X8 units and a DM-MD16X16 unit all stopped working until I replaced the installed Ethernet card with the upgraded CPU3 card. No problems after that. Prior to that, the units would continuously go offline and could not exist on our LAN. The 16X16 was upgraded and now works perfectly. The 8X8 units were taken off the public LAN and only exist on a local network within the cabinets. I have not had any issues with them since getting them off the network. ? -David |
