Re: Crestron Home and josh.ai

Thanks a bunch. That did the trick!

Re: Module Poly G7500

I have heard there are some bugs, but the version 4.0 Poly module on the application market generally works for control. You have to update firmware past 3.5 for the "Remote" commands to work, those were recently added back in to the VideoOS firmware.
For device mode control I haven't seen anything added to the CLI control, but you can start / stop it from the RESTful API. You can check here for a module that can enable / disable device mode?

Re: Gate entrance system

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Affirmative.? I got one of the first units to ship, so there are a few little annoyances that were reported back to DoorBird.? They were very interested in feedback on the product and indicated they would be logging feedback for a while to determine what needed to be included in the next firmware.? I expect that once they roll out new firmware that little oversight will be resolved.

I will add the D1812 fits right into a Door King 1812 backbox for use as a drive-up.? The only problem with it right now is, unlike the D101, they did not allow a ¡°hold open¡± function on the relays.? I expect that will be cured in an upcoming firmware.? I would recommend putting a separate unit at the man door.

Thanks for the plug! Some of the DoorBird¡¯s have two onboard relays so you could use one for the gate and the man door. Only weird thing is on the gate side is if you want the ability to hold the gate open and have the ability pulse the gate open, you¡¯d need a third relay.

I have had reasonably good luck with Doorbird.? There is an issue with trying to view the camera on a bunch of touch panels as it only supports a few simultaneous streams.? If they have a decent NVR you can add the DoorBird to the NVR and then point the TP video object at the NVR stream output for whatever channel the DoorBird is on.? Their Doorbird apps would just point to the device directly.

?

If they have SIP intercom and a server like AVLinkPro you can use that to trigger Crestron actions on an incoming call, or the ControlWorks module also works very well.

Re: Gate entrance system

We have experienced very poor reliability with Doorbird and integrations.? We have actually pulled the majority of the installations we did and only have a few left in circulation, most of these are not integrated with Crestron and are just stand a lone.? the 2n line is a far superior product.? We have installed many and they work very well.? Every client that had Doorbird previously will immediately comment on how much more responsive the 2n is.? There is a lot of API functionality and you can do a lot with it.? That's my 2 cents.??

Re: Gate entrance system

I would look at a 2n IP Force, you will need to get an additional Relay card for the Man Gate.? That part Number is 01350-001.?

Sub-Modules in UserModules

Hi All,
I've been have some issues on occasion with older modules coming forward to 4-series. Obviously the main module has to be set to operate in 4-series, but of course the 'Sub-Modules' within said module also have to be 4-series enabled as well
I'm currently working with one of my modules that seems to work with 4-series, but when I did a 'Save As' to a new version, the new version cannot be found in my Project Modules folder (among other weirdnesses...)
I have verified that the new version is set to 4-series, the S+ sub-modules are (by default) set to 2,3,4-series, but there are a couple sub-modules that are set to Miscellaneous/Unspecified.

I have not had issues with sub-modules that are 'unspecified' in the past (as far as I know). I am on the latest SMW, but I see that there's new DBs as of yesterday that I haven't updated to yet.
Has anyone had issues with the 'Unspecified' settings for Modules/Sub-modules on 4-series projects???

TIA!!

Re: DIN-SACN-DMX

Worth trying the following link:?

note that line 235 needs changing (discussed in the thread), and will need to change mode from SACN to Art-Net

Re: NVX extracted audio #nvx

Lincoln,

Much appreciation to you as that was it! We will be testing various levels to see if we can improve on that volume from the NVX encoders.?

DIN-SACN-DMX

Has anyone worked with this DMX controller using a 2 series processor? It looks like the SACN module that is in the database isn't built for a 2 series proc.

Thank you

Re: SimplSharp with HttpClient

Edited

You are missing the scheme prefix... Either http:// or https://.

* You also don't want to be creating and ignoring IDisposable objects like that. If this is the .NET 4.5+ HttpClient from System.Net.Http.dll then you don't want to be disposing of it like that either. It requires a special usage in most cases, and you'd be able to get away with creating and disposing instances of it only if you aren't making too many requests within a shorter amount of time.

Re: Simpl# retrieving IP addresses of all processors from a single program.

You could also implement service discovery with SSDP or something.
