Re: TSR-310 integration with Applehomekit
Is your WAP on the control subnet? ?If not that¡¯s likely your problem. ?If you move the WAP to the control subnet the connection will work. ? There¡¯s a known issue with 3-series processors not allowing HomeKit to use the main LAN. ?CP3, RMC3, and MC3 does not have this issue, only AV3, PRO3, and CP3N.?

Re: Weather App...Again...
Hey Chris, By any chance, is this happening on panels that have multiple instances of the Smart Graphics Weather App? |
Re: CP4N reboots itself occasionally due to internet/network drop-off??
Update:
* Finally got an AV4 with the newest firmware, tested with a CP4N side by side, no packet loss on AV4 for 2 days, and 2% packet loss on CP4N in 10 minutes. * So far there is no further update from Crestron regarding CP4N problem, for now I could only use AV4/PRO4 instead ... better than nothing although it is frustrating. |
Re: Weather App...Again...
I've seen this same "waiting" message after more than one firmware upgrade on TSW-x60s over the last year, but the failure isn't repeatable.? I was able to get the weather app to connect after a power cycling the TSWs after upgrading firmware via the POE switch.? ? ? A reboot was not sufficient.? Not sure if that helps.

Re: CP4N: sACN traffic goes to control subnet, I need it on LAN port...
All of the sACN projects I've done have used a node with a non-multicast address in the standard class C, B, or A IP address ranges.?
While the traffic may be sent multicast, the node you're controlling shouldn't solely have a multicast IP address. There should be a "control" IP address, similar to NVX. We have used the DMXKing units as well as Chauvet DMX-AN and the Net-X. All three have standard class C, B, or A IP addresses.? The CP4 should be smart enough to route traffic to the correct port based on the IP range. So if your LAN port is 192.168.x.x and your control subnet is 172.16.x.x, if the node's control IP is on 192.168.x.x, it should send from the correct port.? Maybe I'm missing something major here.? |
Re: TSR-310 integration with Applehomekit
IMHO it¡¯s totally unreliable. I spent ages trying to get it to work then it fails. TB don¡¯t really have a clue, so the general consensus is IR then CEC (depending on the setup). Many forums on FB discuss why Crestron cannot make this work reliably like other control systems, but to no avail. Be careful if rolling this out to clients - that¡¯s all I¡¯m saying.?

Re: Multiple mobile apps on processor
I think its the Toolbox version that determines this. older versions required clicking a checkbox to enable multiple projects to be loaded, like Ryan said.
The latest version (v3.09.3) and a few versions before this eliminated this 'feature'. But still with the internal memory, I have only been able to load up to three projects. If you need more than that, perhaps loading to an SD card might facilitate this... |
CP4N: sACN traffic goes to control subnet, I need it on LAN port...
Hi!
I use the CP4 control port for NVX network. On the lan port there is a DMX unit i need to control with sACN. My problem is that the sACN traffic is going to the CP4 control port and not to the lan port. sACN is multicast and that may be the reason why it is routed to the control port (NVX multicast network port). Do anyone know if it is possible to route the UDP socket in the simpl+ file to the lan port and not control port? The multicast address is?239.255.0.44:5568 Erik :) |
