Re: CrestronApp prob. H264 stream (android)
Thanks Tony.
Here are my stream-2 settings from the Lilin: Profile Name : JPEG480P
Output Frame Rate : 5
Image Quality : 60
Alarm Weighted Mode :? Disable
RTSPURL : rtsp://192.168.2.253/rtspjpeg480p Nothing too taxing there. I tend to test the streams first using the diagnostics page In the TSW Setup. Generally if I can get it working there, then it will work in an embedded video window in the project. I'll try it with security enabled with un & pw. |
Re: Hdmi CEC injection
None of the DM products I've checked the specs on list Dolby Vision as being supported and I haven't tried passing it through since my Dolby Vision sources don't need to go through my DM chassis.? The 4KZ series products list HDR support, but make no mention of Dolby Vision.? I know you do mostly (all?) commercial, but Dolby Vision should be pretty common in residential applications, so I'm guessing someone on the list will know for sure.? I should probably figure out a way to rig up a test for this that doesn't require moving too much stuff around. They'll probably release a 4KZDV series at some point (DMC-4KZDV-CO-HD, DMC-4KZDV-C, DM-RMC-4KZDV-100-C, etc.) that supports Dolby Vision. :) Geoff On Fri, Apr 17, 2020 at 1:08 PM Lincoln King-Cliby <lincoln@...> wrote:

Yeah, I'm using the same URLs, but with the username and password added, e.g., rtsp://admin:pass@.../rtsph2641080p. I'm also using "snapshots" for Dynamic Graphics on the camera selection buttons - .

I never had any issues viewing those streams on multiple TSW-1052s, 1060s, and with the Crestron App on iPhones or iPads. Answer ID 5195 has lots of good tips, but usually the first thing to check is that the frame-rate isn't too high. Sometimes it also helps to disable the video window on the touchpanel for a second, whenever the Camera page is first displayed, and any time another camera is selected. I'll also email you a couple of documents I got from Lilin's tech support that might be helpful. --- On Friday, April 17, 2020 at 6:11 AM, Slip Cougan wrote: |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHaven¡¯t ever come across Dolby Vision so the best I can answer is ¡ do any DM products support Dolby Vision? ? e.g. if a DMC-4KZ-HD card will pass Dolby Vision in a normal DM chassis it will also pass in a DMCI¡ Likewise if a DM-TX-4KZ-202-C will pass it when connected to a DM frame it would also be expected to pass it in the standalone configuration that Dustin mentioned (and I¡¯ve also done) ? -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D ? I'm sure there are others but play/pause is what I use most frequently. I think the ChromeCast volume output are also in there.

Re: Polycom Group Address Book
Hey Brian, thanks a bunch for your kindly reply! I'll do it. In this project the Address?Book is the only gear that needs to be fixed. All the best for you! Polycom has made lots of small changes in their API, some of them quite arbitrary, that have made different parts of this module nonfunctional or erratic as the years have gone by. I'd suggest running a search in the messages section of this forum, as I know this topic has come up before, and some folks had good suggestions at fixing this behavior. Hope this is helpful! |

Re: DM-NVX-351
As Tyler mentioned, there's an Extreme option in the X465 series, which can support 802.3bt, but they are indeed not cheap. They can be specified with different internal power supplies to provide enough power for all your endpoints. If you went with dual 2000-watt PSUs, though, they need to be provided with 200-240VAC to supply full power to the switch, otherwise you might as well stick with dual 1100-watt PSUs. Cisco also has the Catalyst 9000 series, which can do 802.3bt as well, but these are even a tier above the Extreme X465 in terms of price. I have not used the Microsemi midspan injectors nor the Planet UPOE hub mentioned, but I have used standalone Planet UPOE injectors with success. They seemed like quality products. If you're looking for a single-box solution, though, I'd recommend looking at the Extreme X465 series switches.

Re: Sudden nk.exe error in DIN-AP3
Steve & Joshua,
Thanks both for the replies - The AP3 does not have any ports open to the internet although there is a CP3 open for the app and that connects to the AP3 by an xsig - can't see that as an issue for the AP3 though. I never use standard ports for anything to be fair - checked the router logs and no incoming. I updated to the latest firmware and this has stopped the error but I take your point that it has to be an external influence and I will do exactly as you suggest and turn auth on on all processors. Again, many thanks and stay safe, Mark |
