Panasonic AW-HAE120 (IP)

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Hi all,?

I read that someone in this group has written a module to control the AW-HAE120 over IP. It would really help me out if you could share it with me. The usual issue - deadlines!

Many thanks,
Barry

Checkout Bluesound Professional / NAD. They have nice 1U 19¡± solutions with 4 zones. With or W/O Amps.

Re: Non-Crestron Audio Player Recommendation? #crestron

Lode seems like a great alternative indeed. I'm already taking a look at their demo project for Crestron, seems relative straightforward.

Thanks Throsten!

Re: Non-Crestron Audio Player Recommendation? #crestron

Thanks, will definitely keep that option in mind.

A bummer that their support downloads page is down for some reason.

Re: Non-Crestron Audio Player Recommendation? #crestron

I?ve asked a similar question a couple of months ago (Sonos replacement).?
Autonomic and Lode are on my short list.
I?ll receive my Lode test/demo unit later this week and will have a closer look. The information i received so far sound pretty good.

Mirage Media Server is the product. Couldn't be easier really

Re: Non-Crestron Audio Player Recommendation? #crestron

Yes, Autonomic works with the media player object.?

Re: Non-Crestron Audio Player Recommendation? #crestron

NIce, thanks for response.

Do they provide you with the crestron module and demo project?

Re: Non-Crestron Audio Player Recommendation? #crestron

I have had pretty good results with Autonomic

Re: Crestron Masters 2020 & Coronavirus

My employer and my family are already asking regularly about this, so I emailed Crestron this morning. To their credit, they replied very quickly, however, it felt a little heavy on the marketing. They said they are still planning on holding Masters as scheduled and made a point of mentioning how they have even sold out this year! (their exclamation point, not mine...)? For those in the position of losing their certification, they did say they are making an exception this year so that those affected can view the videos online and take an exam regarding the videos. I would imagine this would fulfill the CSP requirement also, but I would encourage everyone who has specific questions to either reach out to Crestron directly or hit up the answer ID mentioned above to see if they'll add to it.

Re: Crestron Masters 2020 & Coronavirus

If they do check with your airline I got an email from AA saying they are waving a bunch of fees for changes due to the virus all the way to Jan 2021

Also I'm sure crestron is not going to revoke your certification if they decide to cancel / reschedule masters.

Re: Cisco Webex Pro Kit RS232 Integration

An integrator I work closely with just did prelim testing with these, and after purchasing several USB-Serial adapters to test with, said the testing and control using the current SX80 module worked fine.? Other than the fact that the serial baud is fixed at 115200 and no longer user selectable.? I believe the serial login/password stuff is the same as it was and hasn't changed much.

Re: Crestron Masters 2020 & Coronavirus

I really hope they don't cancel.? My airline tickets are non-refundable and already purchased.

Not to mention, that it's been 3 years since I last attended, so this makes this year my "mandatory/compulsory" attendance in order to stay a CSP.? If they cancelled, I'm not sure what that would mean for us certification holders that NEED to go to satisfy their 3-year rule?

Online wouldn't be too bad, it wouldn't be great to sit through 3 days of WebEx or what ever, but at least it's something.? I was also looking forward to HTML5 class and Simpl# classes.

Re: Cisco Webex Pro Kit RS232 Integration

Disabling serial log in should have worked, make sure the account you are accessing the codec interface with has full admin rights, although it probably does if you are able to modify the integration user settings. There may be an odd issue with V9.4 on the codec, may be worth it to try updating, we are running 9.9.2

Looks like they created an Answer ID regarding this in OLH.

Re: Cisco Webex Pro Kit RS232 Integration

Make sure you reboot the codec after changing any serial port settings.

Crestron is the username I have created for integration access. I have tried giving the user full access as well and it didn't seem to change anything.?

I have also tried disabling serial log in via the XConfigurations and I could not get it to disable serial long in required.?

Any ideas??
